The Coast of the Gods — the stretch of Calabrian Tyrrhenian coastline between Pizzo and Nicotera, named for its cliffs, clear water and the view across to the Aeolian Islands. Tropea and Capo Vaticano are its two best-known points.
How far is Capo Vaticano from Tropea?
About 10 km south — twenty minutes by road, or the standard destination of a three-hour boat tour. The headland has some of the clearest water in Italy and the beaches at Grotticelle and Praia i Focu below it.
Can you see the Aeolian Islands from Tropea?
