Snorkelling & Sea Cave Tours in Tropea
The water off this coast is granite-clear and shallow over the rocks, which makes for straightforward snorkelling even for beginners. Morning trips work the caves and arches around Tropea and Capo Vaticano — masks and fins included — with the guide picking the spots the swell has left calm that day.

TropeaのSnorkelling & Caves — よくある質問
Is the snorkelling good in Tropea?
Very — the seabed is rock and posidonia rather than sand, so visibility stays high, and the coast is full of caves, arches and small coves. Morning trips find the calmest water; afternoons get choppier as the breeze builds.
How much is a snorkelling tour in Tropea?
Around €35–€50 for a three-hour boat trip with two or three snorkel stops, equipment included. Combined tours with an aperitif cost slightly more.
Do you need to swim well to join a snorkelling tour?
Basic swimming is enough — the boats anchor in sheltered coves, hand out buoyancy aids and keep a guide in the water. Children usually join with a parent and a float.
