Very well organised trip with a very happy, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable guide. Food and accommodation were extremely good and more than adequate. Walking tracks were well maintained and the scenery was fabulous. There were challenging parts to the Hanson's peak and Marion's Lookout walks but well worth the effort. The Dove Lake walk was one of the nicest walks we have ever done. Highly recommend this tour.

Cradle Mountain is a beautiful, alpine region of Tasmania. There are walks for all levels and the scenery of mountains and lakes is spectacular. I have completed 4 walking holidays in Tasmania with Park Trek Walking Holidays. The booking process is simple, the guides are very knowledgeable and friendly, the accommodation is comfortable and the food is plentiful and tasty. A very good walk. Spectacularly beautiful scenery. We were lucky with the weather - it statistically rains 2 days out of 3, but we only had one day of heavy rain out of the 4 day walk and we still walked on that day. Guides were caring and reasonably knowledgeable. Food was simple, but good. Same for the accommodation. If you want an enjoyable walking experience focusing a very special environment and don't want or expect, glitzy peripheries, I would strongly recommend Parktrek - we have been on about 5 trips with them so far - so they must be good for us to return! Of course the trip does depend upon fellow participants and on one trip their level of fitness was sub-par, which was a pity, as none of the walks are particularly arduous! Our only downside was the trip back to Launceston which frankly was driven way too fast, despite being ahead of schedule!
