A fantastic experience! A great guide who can passionately share her knowledge of the place, its history and wine. Very inspiring! Thank you! (The period writings you found to tell us: wonderful )
This chateau clearly lacks financial power and investment - it shows… The premises aren’t well kept and the low budget tour is for the right reasons cheap. There are tons of better chateaux to visit.
Even if the visit of the castle itself is not possible, the discovery of the surroundings is well worth a visit. This moment was enriched by a passionate guide, very kind, who knew how to make family history alive and accessible. His passion for oenology is reflected in every word, making the tasting not only enjoyable, but also instructive. A real moment of sharing, sincere and friendly, which gives another dimension to the visit.
An atypical place with a marked, floral and historical identity. A passionate and captivating professional. Thank you for this visit and tasting!
Our group had a fantastic tour at Chateau at Lanessan. We would like to thank Valerie and Romain for a very professional and informative tour of this spectacular Chateau and grounds. We have no hesitation in recommending Chateau Lanessan to anyone who is visiting the Medoc region of Bordeaux.
Very rewarding tour, guided by Valerie, who discovers the history and know-how of the estate with passion Thanks for everything, see you soon
Very nice visit with our guide who was adorable. Thank you for this visit and your explanations. The tastings were excellent and. Yes, we were able to discover a very good wine. The explanations on the wine tasting were very good which allowed us to fully enjoy the different flavors
Very well received by Valerie, we opted for lack of time for the option winery visit and tasting only (8€). Valerie puts a lot of passion into her visit and gives a lot of explanations. The site is very nice of course a bit "dead". Too bad there are no more horses or horse-drawn carriage activities. The estate has recently been bought 70% by Australian wine specialists. To see how this area develops.
Visit highly recommended, we really liked it. Our guide, Valerie, very nice and friendly, giving us great detail in a perfect Spanish, of the history and current affairs of chateau. The museum of horses and cars, a great plus of the visit.
Very nice visit of this place cut off from time, a very pleasant, exciting and smiling guide. We spent an exceptional moment that ended in style with a tasting that takes on a whole new dimension when we know the history of the family, the place and the vineyards.
