Enjoy a relaxing afternoon tour to taste regional Sicilian wine and appreciate the gorgeous scenery of typical sicilian village of Piedimonte Etneo and Linguaglossa, reaching a height of 800 meters above sea level. Would you like to learn more about the sicilian wine production? Visit to a renowned winery, family owned where you will learn all about the production process of the regional wine produced by the winery on Etna's slope. You will taste four different wines and a small aperitif consisting of preserved vegetables, a selection of Sicilian cheeses, hard-boiled eggs, bread, and local olive oil. Return to Taormina area in the late afternoon. This tour will be conducted in English, French, and Italian only.

The tour to Gambino winery was lovely. AMAZING bus driver on the switchback climb up Mt. Etna. Bus guide was informative. Included 5 tastings, bread, cheese, antipasti and sommelier gave good history of Etna and Sicilian wines. While glad we did not drive after having wine the bus pickups/drop offs took ~1.5 hours of the tour.
Great group experience but still felt like you had individual attention. The winery was beautiful , staff was friendly , food and wine were delicious as well! Our tour guide gave us great information about Sicily and was funny too :)
Had a very enjoyable experience sampling wines, cheeses and olive oil on the side of mount Etna! Pick up was straight forward. Bus was comfy with air conditioning and stunning views. The sommelier who did our tasting was really knowledgeable, it was cool to hear the history of the winery and the science that goes into growing best grapes for wine. As people who aren't very experienced with wine tasting, being told what to look out for and how to experience the wine was very helpful. The cheeses and bread paired with wine were really tasty - so were the wines itself! We bought a bottle back to the hotel and wish we could have brought another back on the plane with us!

It wasn’t a wine tour it was a wine experience. I have never been to such an incredible “wine tour”. They were so generous with the wine plus we all got a cheese platter each! And we tried so many incredible wines. I ended up buying 2 bottles! Plus the tour guide Isabella was so incredible! She was funny and also extremely engaging and kind. I would do it again if I came back to Taormina 🩷
