Terrible experience! Awful staff.

Run for the hills, the staff are very rude and really own seem to care about money, not your experience. They tried to overcharge for the wine, and knowing our family had already been here, we found out. The place is very dirty outside and such a wierd vibe to it. The female staff member was pointing at our child whilst we were wine tasting here because she was crying. So rude. Please don't give this place your business and becarful they are not to be trusted. You only have to look at the bad reviews to see this for yourself ! Terrible place and terrible people.

Rest and Peace of Mind

The Quinta dos Vales "destroyed" (in the good sense) our 4 day vacation plans!!! We liked to walk and get to know, we had already seen 2 or 3 activities to do in the area... but the Quinta dos Vales “forced us” to rest and enjoy the peace of the spaces. Despite the presence of other summerers, we enjoy the extreme tranquility of the farm, the simplicity of the houses (decorated with good taste), the enjoyment of the silence of the terrace accompanied by the chilrear of a bird and one of the wines of Quinta, the afternoons in the pool overlooking the vineyard and the morning tours by the vineyard. Have the opportunity to take advantage of the space with the numerous and creative sculptures, which demonstrate different “emotions” when observed from different angles, positions and distances. As points of improvement (yet does not negatively affect), you can include a housekeeping service and invest in a small restaurant that allows you to enjoy Quinta even more. We recommend the guided tour to Quinta with the taste of wines and accompanied by the cheese and filled table. The great challenge of Qunta dos Vales will be to maintain the balance between the tradition of a vineyard and the modernity (of good taste) of the sculptures, to maintain the tranquility of the space and the quality / sympathy of the staff (5 stars) of the Quinta. These were days of peace, tranquility and rest.

Great tapas for wine tasting experience.

We enjoyed the Savour and Sip gastronomic experience hugely. Joao led the session, talking very knowledgeably and with great humour about each of the wines. The two Spanish chefs prepared a tapas course to go with each wine , which were perfectly complimentary. They were also incredibly attentive to one of our party’s dietary needs with imaginative variations to meet her dairy intolerance. We had a baby with us and, whilst this was an adult experience, she was welcomed by all. There were about 15 people at the experience, from a variety nationalities, all of whom seemed to enjoy the experience. We drove over from Carvoeiro, and left our car there to pick up the following day, so that we could all enjoy the wine. The taxi back was only 20€ so well worth it. Definitely one to recommend!

Wow! A wonderfully different day.

Knowing the central Algarve well, we were looking for something different to enjoy. What a marvellous experience. We initially visited for a look round but the place is so peaceful and beautiful that we opted for a tour in the afternoon, beginning at 2:00 p.m. We were shown round by a brilliant young man by the name of Delfim. We were told about the vines and shown round the processing area. This was followed by a wine tasting of four wines, all of which were fabulous. Delfim was very informative and spoke extremely good English, which helped us a lot! The vineyard also has accommodation, in which we will be very interested for next year when we re-visit with our daughters. The wines were so excellent that we have brought a few bottles to take home to the U.K. We definitely recommend this day out and will return another time. The cost of the tour was around €36 each, including the wines. It is open free to the public to walk round, should you wish but allow yourself to be tempted in the tour!

Worth the art not the wine

This is a very unique place but you don’t go there for the wine…wines is very average but the grounds are interesting and worth spending an hour simply walking around. Wine people dont go there for good wine. Art people go there and see outdoor works of art.

Well worth a visit, not least for the sculpture

Very informative short tour in a group of about 20, with a knowledgeable guide who enjoyed taking questions. The cellar steps weren't disability-friendly. Followed by tasting of 4 wines, with good descriptions. Good value for a 90 min tour. After the tour, I checked out the full range of wines in the shop, and was cheerfully also offered a tasting measure of the particular wine I fancied buying.

Worth visiting

We had a great trip to this special winery with lots of art to study both inside and out. The wine tasting was led by a committed and skilled waiter and greatly contributed to the fine overall experience. While we were there, we saw several visitors who just came by to shop in the shop, and for a little walk in the garden with all the different art figures.

Fabulous!

Last Wednesday, I had the pleasure of doing a wine tasting at Quinta dos Vales in the company of my girlfriend. The weather was not suitable and did not invite large activities, which really made me hesitate as to whether I should cancel this activity. In any case, I decided that the weather would not be an impediment and headed to Quinta dos Vales. With great pleasure, I was welcomed by Delfim, who guided us throughout the afternoon through a very complete explanation about the wines that this farm produces... and how delicious, especially the Tinto Grace Vineyard 2015, as well as about the surrounding region. However, it didn't stop there, Delfim is also a deep connoisseur of art, and in fact, an artist! In addition to all his knowledge, this boy's level of English is truly surprising. I recommend this experience and I will certainly repeat it again!

Fantastic your and great wines!

We had a wonderful private tour on a Monday afternoon. Booked in advance, but we were quite late and they still very kindly accommodated us! The your helped us learn about the vineyard and the wine making process, followed by a wine tasting of 4 different wines. Delicious!!
