Whether a party of two or more, the entire experience is a one-of-a-kind treat for all of the senses.
We booked Whistler Tasting Tours for one of the main activities during our company retreat, and it exceeded every expectation. Our guides—Carol, Steve and Tristan—were absolutely fantastic. They kept everyone engaged, handled our group of 54 effortlessly, and by the end of the tour our team was literally hugging them goodbye. That's probably the best testament to the experience. As the event organizers, one thing that really stood out was how easy they made everything for us. We mentioned that we'd love to grab an impromptu team photo, and Carol immediately took ownership, organized the entire group, and made it happen in front of the Olympic rings. It was such a thoughtful touch that we'll really appreciate looking back on. The food was outstanding, the champagne sabering was an unforgettable highlight, and the pace of the tour was spot on. Everything ran so smoothly that we were actually able to step back, relax and enjoy the experience alongside our team—which is rare when you're organizing an event for 50+ people. The feedback from our team has been overwhelmingly positive. We've had multiple people say they'd do another Whistler Tasting Tour again and again. Our internal event coordinators have a very high bar for well-run experiences, and this one cleared it with ease. We couldn't recommend Whistler Tasting Tours more highly!
A memorable experience. Steve our guide was easy going, knowledgable and personable. The options offered were all delicious. A great introduction to the culinary delights of Whistler.
We had an amazing food tour with Stephen! It ended up being just the two of us, which made the experience feel really personal. Stephen was an excellent host, knowledgeable, engaging, and he tailored the tour to our interests. Everything was well organized, the food was delicious, and Stephen made it extra fun with trivia along the way and a final poker game. We couldn’t recommend this tasting tour more highly!
Host Tristan was exceptional. Food fantastic. Venue at whistler could not be beaten anywhere in the world. Highly recommended
Fantastic selection of food and wine. Great trivia and “poker game “ fun. Carol was a great guide who was able to corral our sometimes spicy group
Hi Darren! Thank you so much for the 5-star review. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the food and wine selection, and that Carol was able to keep the fun going—even with a "spicy" group! Carol is an expert at managing the trivia and poker games, and we will be sure to share your kind words with her.
When booking this, I really thought more of my husband and myself, even though we were traveling with teenagers. We travewith our kids and they are used to going to more adult like events. They’re 16 and 19 years old. And even though this had a wine pairing portion of it, which you could out of for my teenagers, my KIDS and my husband and I had an ex extremely wonderful time. The food was absolutely delicious. And the wine pairing extraordinary, but we made everything more than perfect. Was our tour guide, Carol.
Hi Mrblaw, "Yummylicious" is exactly what we like to hear! We’re so glad that the Finer Things tour ended up being a hit for the whole family, including the teenagers. It’s wonderful to know the atmosphere and pairings worked so well for your group. Thanks for choosing to spend your evening with us!
Had a great time on the Whistler Finer Things Dinner Tour. Carol was an amazing guide, the food was delicious, and the card game we played made it even more fun. Highly recommend!
