Great tour in magnificent weather with many wonderful impressions! Saw many whales and dolphins, and of course the enchanting puffins too. The two young men, the captain and our guide, were super and very eager to show and explain as much as possible to us. Absolutely recommended, also regarding the price-performance ratio! Would do it again immediately!
Awesome experience. Saw dolphins and followed a humpback whale for about 30 mins—just incredible. The boat and safety equipment was all top notch. The boat actually seemed to be brand new. The captain was excellent and took good care of being sure our trip was comfortable. Claudia, our guide, was excellent and provided tons of information and made the entire trip enjoyable. Highly recommend this trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our whale watching experience on the rib boat. It was one to remember. Not only was the boat ride a fun ride experience on the ocean for us and our kids raging from 15 to 22 but being able to see the whales and dolphins as well as puffins up close made it a great experience. We were equipped with plenty of warm gear and this evening was comfortable. The captain and guide made us feel safe and enthused about the experience while educating us on the marine life in Iceland. It was a fun educational experience for all. We would highly recommend the company and the experience to anyone visiting their Reykjavík area. It was one of our favorites activities on the trip.
I highly recommend this experience! They take you out on a speed boat which allows them to get so much closer to the whales than if you were in a large boat that's harder to maneuver. The young man who told us about the whales on the boat was very informative and fun! While I did not get his name I went on this tour at 9:30 a.m. on July 18th. I was never cold because they provided you with all the gear you needed to stay warm.
Trip was wonderful and we saw many jumping whales. However, we have not yet been reimbursed as we were supposed to be on the RIB boat and instead were placed on the larger slower boat. Hopefully that will be forthcoming.
I think that it’s the best experience ever. And thanks to Oscar and the captain who did an amazing job and I will definitely book this again!! I did this in June and it’s the best, weather is literally perfect! :) I’m so glad I did this with you guys!
This trip was fun ! Some patience needed for up close and personal viewing. But once it happens, it is wonderful. For both whales and puffins!
Good organization, an amazing experiance
Just do it! We first did a whale tour with a big boat but could not match this. Seen 4 different species, a total of 10 whales and 2 species of dolphins. There is quickly found, and at the end the climax came with 2 humpback whales 2 meters away swimming alongside our boat. Thank you to Julien and the top captain. (We also stayed bone dry and had nice and warm)
This was a highlight from our time in Reykjavik. The speed boat tours created a smaller group experience compared to the larger boats that looked very crowded. Our guide was a marine biologist who answered all of our questions throughout the tour. I had read some reviews about the speed boats being rough, but we didn’t have any problems (it was a pretty calm day, though) and actually enjoyed hitting a few of the waves! We spotted several whales and dolphins during our tour - would definitely recommend this for anyone looking at whale watching tours in Reykjavik!
