On July 29 the whale watch tour done in the timeslot from 11:00 to 13:00. The sea turned out to be incredibly rough. There was not 1 moment during the 2 hour duration to let your hands go of the rail. Taking pictures was therefore impossible but also not necessary. 1x A back of a whale seen in the high waves. On the way back I did see a few dolphins. Meanwhile all the people soaking wet (the raincoat provided was pointless) and various people with their heads between their legs vomiting on boat hoping for a quick end to this debakel. Of course Advantage Tours can't change the weather but this was the third tour of the morning and they knew the weather conditions at sea were bad. Even if you do not want to refund the booked tour, you could still warn the participants of the tour about the circumstances. But to avoid discussions at the front, this is apparently not chosen. Tour (€108 per person) was wasted money.
Unique experience, highly recommended for when you are in the area.
We've seen several whales. Seen several jumps. We had quite a few waves so taking pictures and videos was very difficult. We definitely recommend the excursion to do. But keep in mind that you can get wet well.
