Whale and Dolphin Watching in Calheta, Madeira Island

Absolutely fantastic - cannot recommend enough. Guide, skipper and boat all amazing. Total ignorance on our part- We hadn’t anticipated cold from spray and how wet we would get! Also be prepared to hold on tight if you are new to this like us. It was absolutely amazing and we will forever hold memories of how lucky we were to see so many dolphins - amazing. Thank you

It was a fantastic tour. Easy to book, clear information by mail received in advance about the location and where to park. The tour was beautiful. Immediately already seen a group of whales, then 2 different groups of dolphins. The groups were approached at an appropriate distance, but clearly visible. Raquel gave clear and lots of information. Renato opened the throttle at the end of the tour. This was cool, too. Afterwards we were sent pictures. Always nice. This tour at H2O is highly recommended.

Fantastic! With patience, the search was on for dolphins. Soon a group was discovered and approached with respect. Quiet bobbing where the dolphins approached to the boat. Later still waited for a dive of the and whale but this did not happen. Clear explanation and respect for the animals again!

The absolute highlight of our holiday. Loved every minute. The crew are incredibly knowledgeable and the rib boat lets you get super close to the animals, as well as being very good fun. We enjoyed it so much we have booked to go again on the last day of our trip! Can’t wait!

Very beautiful experience for this outing to discover cetaceans! The organization is excellent and the communication during the purchase is clear and efficient. We also really appreciated the ease and speed of the cancellation for one person in our group. The information provided about the cetaceans was very interesting and enriching. We were lucky enough to observe three species of dolphins, including a group of about forty individuals: an absolutely magical moment! We particularly loved being towed gently behind the boat to be able to observe the dolphins underwater, without effort, while hearing the dolphins whistling. A truly original and pleasant way to discover them in their natural environment. An outing that we highly recommend! 🐬
