We have a brief walk around the Parliament grounds where your guide will point out the iconic ‘Beehive’, Houses of Parliament and the Parliamentary Library building.
Old St. Paul's

Built between 1865 and 1866 Old St Pauls Cathedral is one of the best examples of Gothic Revival architecture in the world. The Cathedral is particularly poignant for American visitors. A large contingent of the American Marine Corp were based in and around Wellington in 1942 and many Marines would attend Sunday services. The American Marine Corp flag and the American national flag of that time with 48 stars hang proudly inside the Cathedral.
Here we have a guided tour with a Heritage NZ staff member who will provide an extensive overview of the history of the Cathedral.
Wellington Cable Car

Take a ride on Wellington's long standing, iconic tourist attraction - the Wellington Cable Car.
Your guide will take you to the entry point and then meet you up at your final destination - Kelburn.
Lady Norwood Rose Garden

We take a walk through the magnificent Lady Norwood Rose Garden located in the Wellington Botanical Gardens.
When the roses are not in bloom a short walk in the gardens can be taken.

Ataturk Memorial

We visit the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk memorial, the first President of the Republic of Turkey above Breaker Bay. The memorial looks out over Cook Strait and the site was chosen for its remarkable likeness to the landscape of the Gallipoli Peninsula
in Turkey. The memorial is particularly poignant for Australian, New Zealand and Turkish visitors who commemorate the ANZAC Gallipoli campaign during World War 1.

One of our best days in NZ
This tour was an incredible journey trough Middle Earth. Our guide Dean was really nice during the day and gave so much details and anecdotes. Little Finn will remember this awsome member of our felleowship of the day. One of the best days of our trip in New Zeland!

The Perfect Way to Explore Wellington

Fantastic day in Wellington
A fantastic way to spend the day in Wellington! We learned so much, saw so much and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our guide, Tom Collier, was quite knowledgeable and interspersed anecdotes that kept things light and lively. We traversed the city and by the end of the tour felt like we had really seen Wellington.

FANTASTIC LOTR tour with Dave!
Wonderful LOTR tour around Wellington! My son and I had a great time with Dave. He took us to all the filming locations and more! He also taught us about New Zealand’s rich history and culture. A great lunch was included along with all the pics in a drop box at the end of the tour. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

All right.
We had this guided tour on our schedule with Ewen. We did a complete and historic city tour with lots of reviews with bonus Cable Car tour and coffee at the Botanical Garden. It was very interesting and informative. Several stops are planned and photos taken. That's great for those who don't stay here long. It's in English.

An Awesome City Tour by an Awesome Guide.
Our guide Dave met us promptly at the agreed time and it was the beginning of an awesome day together. He listened to what we wanted to see, and asked what we had seen already, and then took us on an awesome tour of Wellington and surrounding areas. We really appreciated getting to see outside of the Central Business District and the fact that he took pictures that he promptly sent to us after the tour. Dave has a wealth of local knowledge and was super easy to spend time with. It felt more like a friend showing you his city and a paid tour.
Dave also remembered that we needed to buy hats to protect ourselves from the strong sun and neatly fit in a stop at a local store (instead of an overpriced tourist shop) to buy some hats!
This tour was the highlight of our visit to Wellington! Thank you Dave for being sucha great guide.
