When we booked the Yosemite Valley waterfalls hike we did so to make our lives easier. Our goal was to find a knowledgeable person to help us navigate around the crowds so we could focus our time on the really special or spectacular falls. We were not disappointed. Gabe, our host and tour guide, exceeded all our expectations for the day. He discussed our interest and desires for the day (we wanted to hike to Vernal and Nevada falls) and then customized a tour throughout the Valley allowing us to see all ten waterfalls. With his knowledge of the trails around Yosemite he routed us around the crowded trails, took us to spectacular view points that only the “locals” know about and shared with us his vast knowledge of the Valley and surrounding hikes. The hike to Vernal and Nevada falls was a little on the strenuous side but he was able to help us set a pace that allowed us to reach all our goals for the day. The mist trail was fantastic (even if we got a little wet), but seeing the Vernal and Nevada falls up close was unforgettable especially given the heavy spring flow rates. We love visiting National Parks and we have many great memories but the day spent with Gabe visiting all the waterfalls will forever remain one of our most fond memories. We have already started recommending the tour to our family and friends. It is a memory that will stay with us for a lifetime.
David and Cindy, thank you so much for the heartfelt review—this truly means a lot! I had such a great time exploring the Valley with you both and am thrilled we were able to hit all ten waterfalls, including the unforgettable climb to Vernal and Nevada Falls. You brought such great energy and curiosity to the day, and it was a real pleasure to share some of my favorite hidden views and local insights with you. Hearing that it’s become one of your favorite National Park memories is the highest compliment I could ask for. Thank you again for adventuring with me—and for spreading the word to friends and family! Hope to see you both back in Yosemite someday! 🌲💦
Wonder tour! Excellent way to spend your day and experience Yosemite. Guide was fun and knowledgeable.
Thank you so much Michael and Michelle! I'm really glad you had a wonderful time and enjoyed the day in Yosemite. It was a pleasure showing you around—hope the experience stays with you for a long time. Come back anytime for more adventure! 🌲😊
Exelent experience. Big thanks to our tour guide Miranda she did an amazing job. I do recommend this tour 100%.
So glad to hear it went well for you. Thanks for taking the time to share!
Gabriel was excellent. Very knowledgable and has spent a lot of time in the valley. He showed us many of the main sights and also some stuff that is more off the commonly beaten path. The trip was very well tailored to what we liked and our hiking level. He happily changed and modified the route as our energy levels changed and based on what was available to see.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share!
Our tour guide was very accommodating . He attended to our needs. We love that we were able to go near to some waterfalls with Gabe guiding us. He made us comfortable as if we were family on a tour. Thank you we enjoyed our tour.
Thank you for your wonderful review! It was a pleasure guiding you both to the waterfalls and sharing the beauty of Yosemite. Your kind words about feeling like family mean a lot and the feeling was mutual! Wishing you safe travels back east!
