Wall Street Insider Tour with a Finance Professional

Description
Come explore the beginnings of the Big Apple right here in NYC's Financial District. This immersive tour is led by former traders, bankers, brokers, and other Wall Street veterans who’ve worked in the financial trenches and seen it all. They’ll share firsthand stories and guide you through over 400 years of local history. From New York's earliest days as a Dutch trading outpost to its rise as a global financial leader, they’ll make these streets come alive with firsthand stories. You'll walk the streets where billion-dollar deals are made and see the hallowed institutions where the fate of our economy hangs in the balance. There’s history, drama, and more than a few surprises along the way — like how a cleanup with the best intentions let criminals evade detection for over a century. Join us on this educational and entertaining walking tour, and we promise you’ll never think of Wall Street the same way again.

Too many travelers (20) with only 1 tour guide. We booked it with 2 transactions . I thought we will have 2 guides. It is impossible for the guide to speak with 22 if us. Quite disappointed!
Hi Barbara, Thanks for your review. Our max number of guests for that tour is 26 people so your group was still within the threshold for one guide. By booking the public tour twice, we cannot guarantee how many of your group will be given for a guide. A private tour group tour is the best way to have specific requests met. Thank you.
Wall Street guide was very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. Pace was good. Group size was great for us
The worst guide. Kept us in the sun talking about how many times he was fired from Wall Street firms for insider trading and other illegal moneymaking schemes. Gave us no history about Wall St functioning. Was a real waste of time & money.
Hi MaryAlice, Thanks for leaving a review. We're sorry you had a negative experience. Please know that it is being addressed on our end. We always strive for the best possible experience for our guests. Thank you, we take your feedback very seriously.
I purchased three tickets, 2 of which were for my children (one with a junior option). The guide tries very hard, but the content of the tour and the explanations are absolutely not of interest to younger people. This was not at all clear at the time of purchase.
Hi Tommaso, Thank you for leaving a review. We're sorry to hear that your children did not enjoy this tour. While we do feel that our listing makes it clear that this tour focuses on primarily on a financial perspective, we do understand that this might not be to everyones' tastes. Thank you.
Our tour guide was a man that worked in the Wall Street area for decades and he knew a lot of history of the area. What I thought was a one-hour tour was actually 2.5-3 hours. We saw everything advertised with a ton of information on the history of the buildings and people involved with the making of Wall Street. He was very organized, knowledgeable and prepared. Our fellow tour mates do not get high marks and had little regard for the tour leader and others on the tour, showing up late (with lattes in hand), leaving the group, then making us wonder where they were, then sporadically showing up. If we were at a show, you would call them hecklers. The guide treated them with respect and kindness despite a family of two girls that would rather be taking selfies of themselves and let us all know. Despite the one ill-mannered family, the rest of us found every minute fascinating. The one thing I did not expect was a very long line to get a picture of the bull. We saw it, took pictures, but literally would have been there another hour in line to get one up close. It was a great tour the last week of July, 2026!
Great! Thank you for the tour.
It was fun to get some history and facts behind the buildings we walked by. Having an insider’s view was interesting.
Great experience. Our guide Jess was very knowledgable and delivered the stories well.
I enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Jess, was incredibly nice had a lot of energy and mad sure the whole group was included. Very educational and fun!
James was a great tour guide, very informative and answered all questions. He stuck around after the tour as long as he could to talk to us and answer more questions. 100% would recommend!
