I really liked the tour of the medina. From the Koran school to the craft alleys to the tannery, everything was there. I particularly liked the visit to the old pharmacy. We weren't pushed to anything but had the option to buy something if needed.
Abdol was a wonderful tour guide and he customized the experience to our interests. He helped us get good prices on things and picked us up from our hotel and made sure we got home safely. I would highly recommend this tour!
Abdul is a remarkable guide: passionate and smiling who shared us the love for his city without counting his time. A complete itinerary, integrating a more authentic visit outside the tourist circuits. We learned so many interesting things and discovered places and details that we would never have noticed without him. His professionalism and kindness really made the difference.
Great guide, great person, took us to local places, was super kind and patient, would recommend 100%! you can perceive he is very loved in the community, people on the street say hi to him with his name and always with respect, this gives you a sense of comfort and safety. He was very friendly and welcoming! He truly loves his city and enjoys sharing his culture and respect with others. Top of the top!
We visited the Medina of Fes with our guide Rachid. Clear and clear in his explanations, he guided us through this great maze, to show us all the historical and architectural riches. Rachid was very good advice to the traders and craftsmen of the old town. We will not hesitate to recommend it. Thanks again.
Rachid is a very attentive and adorable guide. He knows the Medina of Fez by heart. And it is reciprocal. Everyone says hello here!:) in half a day we saw the Koranic schools, tanneries, weavers, souks, markets. It’s as if it were Ariadne’s son who helps you never get lost in the maze! And we want to go back! Thank you! Choukran
I booked a guided tour expecting the reassurance of an official service—that I would be protected from schemes and excessive prices. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of those expectations. During the tour, we were steered towards a lunch spot where we paid 50 MAD for sandwiches, even though similar options in the medina typically cost around 25 MAD. This overcharge set a disappointing tone for the rest of the day. Later, at a carpet shop, I found that we were significantly overcharged. While I admit I wasn’t well-versed in local pricing, I hired a guide precisely to avoid such pitfalls. A similar pattern repeated when we visited a leather shop, where the guide directed us to vendors with inflated prices. What hurts most is the betrayal of trust—I believed the guide’s good intentions and expertise would ensure fair treatment, yet I ended up feeling taken advantage of. I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for future travelers and encourages a higher standard of honesty and fairness from tour services. Feel free to adjust the tone or details to better reflect your personal experience.
Everything was perfect!! Rashid is the best tour guide someone could ask for, he takes his time to show us everything and answer all of our questions. 10/10
Rashid was an amazing guide. We would have never seen all the amazing places. He helped us with nice prices and overall a very happy day.
The tour of the Medina with Rachid was a highlight of my three weeks in Fes. He is personable, patient, good-humored, listens well to what the client wants and goes well out of his way to ensure complete satisfaction. I highly recommend at least one tour with him!
