Hi ! About 90% of tourists usually head straight to Pisa and Florence – and yes, they’re amazing – but this tour offers something a little different. It’s a bit more off the beaten path (especially Volterra), and it's a real treat to explore the heart of Tuscany through these two charming villages. Give this experience a try: you won’t regret it! You’ll travel in a comfortable Mercedes van, with a driver/guide who will explain what you're seeing throughout the day. The standard departure time is 8:30am, but it can be customized to fit your schedule.

The Roman Amphytheater is an attraction, a piece of roman history where still today the local government arranges music concerts and shows, especially in summer. We will have a quick view from the panoramic spot ideal for take a photo.
A visit in the oldest company of Alabaster production, they have also a lab where they do a free demonstration of craftsmanship.
The main square in Volterra where is the Priory Palace and the tower framed in the movie Twilight. In the opposite side you have the Cathedral. From here you can start your visit in the historic part of the village.
Called wrongly from the foreigners Tuscany (in italian Toscana) we drive across the Chianti countryside (this is the real name! Tuscany is not only that part but the entire region) land of wine, olive oil and good food...and, if you like, we can arrange a lunch with wine tasting, or a wine tasting without lunch. Food and drinks are not included in the price of the tours.
Famous medieval village full of towers with a beautiful atmosphere. Don't forget to try the best gelato in the main square!

Giuliano was wonderful!!! We had the best day! He picked us up right at the ship and planned an amazing day to Volterra and then to San Gimignano. He took us to one of his favorite restaurants and then to a beautiful vineyard that has been run by the same family since the 1600’s. Definitely a must if you don’t want to ride with 100 people on a bus!

My husband and I visited Italy for our honeymoon and this was probably our favorite activity we did! We stayed in Pisa and were picked up by the most amazing driver/guide, Giuliano! He introduced me to my first pistachio croissant and I was fully addicted the rest of our trip. I loved learning about what it's liked to live there and other fun facts you probably wouldn't learn on a typical walking tour. He is also an amazing singer :) Volterra and San Gimagnano were both beautiful towns and not crowded at all compared to the larger cities, which was a nice change of pace. They are also smaller enough where you don't feel rushed visiting both in one day. Also, if you have the opportunity to get lunch at a vineyard between the two towns, you HAVE to! The views were incredible and so was the wine. If we're ever back in Italy, we'll definitely book an activity with through this company and hopefully with Giuliano again!

Beautiful day in the countryside of Tuscany. Our driver Guliano was prompt, driving a clean comfortable van. He provided us with lots of information, and was kind, funny, and considerate throughout. We enjoyed va detour to see opera singer Andre Bocelli's hometown and summer concert venue. Definitely agree to pay extra for the wine tasting and lunch. Truly special!

The driver was super polite and careful ! He told us all the local legends and stories about the regions we visited. In addition, the driver mentioned to us which places are good for visiting/eating. In some places we even got discounts because people knew him. I would highly recommend this trip !

We came to Livorno on an NCL cruise. My husband booked for the 5 of us to take a tour and it was fabulous!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Make My Day. Our guide was very kind, and made our trip so enjoyable. He kept us entertained and well informed about the various areas we visited. We went to beautiful Volterra, and then had a wonderful lunch at the most charming winery, we then finished our day in San Gimignano. Perfect tour. Book it, you won't regret it!! Thank you Giuliano!!

We arrived Livorno by cruise ship and Giuliano was waiting for us nice and early at the port. It was super easy to find him and we didn't have any problem communicating with him prior to the trip. The car was comfortable, very clean and Giuliano kept us entertain throughout the journey to Siena by giving us info and interesting things about the Tuscany area. Once we finished visiting Siena we were taken to a nice winery for waste tasting and lunch, which my family enjoyed very much! We then visited San Gimignano in the afternoon and it was such a beautiful place. Giuliano got us back to the port in good time and we found the whole experience very pleasant. I would highly recommend booking shore excursion with Make My Day In Italy as it was such good value and you won't be disappointed.
