Punalu'u Black Sand Beach

Awesome expirience
It was an amazing expirience, it was just me, my wife, this woman on a work trip, and our amazing tour guide Alex!! Took us to all the right spots, with amazing veiws!

Alex is great!
Alex was fantastic. He is native to the islands and was extremely knowledgeable. He shared a lot of gems from his native culture to help you understand the islands and the volcanos. He is friendly, funny, engaging and draws you in. He blew a conch shell to draw us back to himself and was always clear in his directions. I would highly recommend any tour where he is the guide.

Volcanoes, macadamia nuts, lava tubes, rainbow falls
Rainbow falls is beautiful. We are lucky enough that Kilauea was near eruption sputtering lava. Lava tube was cool. Macadamia nut was neat. Trip advisors description is inaccurate we did not have a beach but it wasn't part of what we booked so it's fine.
