Description
Experience this 3-hour wine tour taking place at a family-run vineyard in the celebrated wine-growing region of Alt Penedès. You will first enjoy a guided tour of the vineyards, the cellars and the warehouse and then some wine-tasting of several local wines paired with local products.

Once you meet your guide at the Miquel Jane winery in Alt Penedès, you can get ready for a great wine experience. You will first set off for a guided tour of the vineyards, where you will learn tips about viticulture. Next, your will visit the winery where your local expert will show you how the wines get processed and see the different techniques of wine-making as well as sharing some of the secrets behind the ageing processes. After the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste several of their internationally-awarded wines along with a delicious aperitif of local cheeses and hams. On completion of your tour you will receive a booklet with many helpful hints and tips on the art of wine-tasting.

Highly, highly recommended. Montse explains it passionately and any question he is asked answers with a smile every time. It is the first visit and tasting I have really enjoyed and learned. Everything was fantastic. A hotel experience with a spa and a winery visit. After an initial problem with the day's programming, they resolved it very well. We had a guide just for us, and he was superb. The visits were very interesting, with Lluva's explanations (sorry, I don't remember her name well), her passion for her work and her power of transmission. We are very grateful to the owner for sorting out the scheduling problem, to the guide, and to the lady who kept the winery open for us. Recommended by all 😃👍

The guided tour was spectacular, the guide did wonderfully a very professional and friendly man, the small cellar but a large cellar and the exceptional tasting room. The delicious wines also offer a wide variety of wines both red and white , I recommend 100% this experience to enjoy if you are passionate about wine and mountains , finally the winery is close to Barcelona.

It was a great experience, more than a tasting, it was a wine class with an expert teacher, who made us the 3 hours very enjoyable. Very soft wines and the spectacular needle. Fully recommended

The visit was ideal, Nestor Gracia (enologist) was very friendly and explained everything clearly. Very interesting tasting and good wines. I recommend it 100%.

You can tell when there are people who love the work they do and what they do. We have made this visit through a pack of experiences and we have been accompanied by Nestor, winemaker of the winery, who has made a visit to the farm / winery and the vineyard. Enthusiastically explaining the history of the winery and the history of Catalan winemaking and winemaking, curiosities of the world and with a spectacular wine tasting class. A highly recommended experience as well as its wines and that employees like Nestor convey so well the love for wine and its profession.

Filo is a phenomenal guide who made the explanation very enjoyable and we learned a lot from the tasting and the visit to the vineyards. It was very fun. Totally recommended.
