After exploring this fort, you will head to Pushkar which is a town bordering the Thar Desert, in the northeastern Indian state of Rajasthan. It is set on Pushkar Lake, a sacred Hindu site with 52 ghats (stone staircases) where pilgrims bathe. The town has hundreds of temples, including 14th-century Jagatpita Brahma Mandir, dedicated to the god of creation, which has a distinctive red spire and walls inlaid with pilgrims’ silver coins.

We had a great trip from Jaipur to Udaipur - seeing both Pushkar and Chittorgarh Fort on the way! Would highly recommend this tour for anyone going from Jaipur to Udaipur. Both our guides (Nandos in Pushkar and Trilok in Chittorgarh) were really knowledgeable and great storytellers that deeply cared about their respective cities. Also, our driver Jagdish Ji did an amazing job and we felt safe the entire way. Highly recommended!
