Itinerary
Explore the most emblematic monument in all of Greece listed by UNESCO, with an expert and official guide exclusively in Spanish. The visit begins with the historical, mythological and cultural context of this wonderful space.
We will visit the famous Parthenon listed by UNESCO as one of the most important buildings of antiquity for its perfection and harmony. Built 2,500 years ago, we will discover its optical refinements and all its legends. We will explain the history of its construction and the phases by which it became a church during the Byzantine period and a mosque during the Ottoman occupation. We will learn about its decoration and looting up to the restoration work in force.
Monumental entrance built entirely of marble to impress the pilgrim of the time and the tourist today. Due to its strategic position, the Propylaea functioned as a funnel in times of war thanks to its impressive topography. Discover why it was built with different types of columns. Essential point in the history of the Acropolis.
A true architectural jewel built on the monumental entrance in honor of the goddess Athena Victorious. A work carried out by the Athenians just after the victories obtained against the Persians, it achieves its goal to this day: To remember from generation to generation the most culminating moment of all Greece, the golden age.
It is without a doubt the most photogenic monument in the entire Acropolis thanks to its marvelous female-shaped columns, the Caryatids. Built right next to the Parthenon, it was consecrated to various divinities including: Athena, Poseidon and Erectios, the latter for being the first mythological king of Athens. Discover its legends and peculiarities. Why is your olive tree so sacred?
We will visit the famous Herod the Attic Auditorium with a capacity of 5,000 spectators built by one of the most renowned Roman governors in Athens. Dedicated to his wife Regina, it is today the only fully restored ancient building in use. It is here that the most outstanding performances take place every year during the famous festival of Athens.
Temple dedicated to the god of medicine Asclepius. Right in this space we will learn how the ancient Athenians cured patients and the types of votive offerings they gave as thanks.
One of the oldest theaters in the world built entirely of marble. With an incredible capacity of 17,000 spectators, its chosen space on the slope of the Acropolis itself managed to guarantee the maximum desired acoustics. It is in this space that the famous works of Euripides, Aeschylos, Sophocles and Aristophanes were presented for the first time.

Very good tour, very complete. The guide's passion for history and knowledge was evident
Tour 100% recommended. Good organization and information from Emmy. Efi was in charge of captivating us with a contextualized explanation adapted for all ages with her extensive knowledge and passion. A plus to access first thing in the morning, without lines, always explaining in shaded areas away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for teaching us that the goal is not to reach the top running, but to enjoy the climb.
Excellent visit guided by Efi,
Spectacular visit, with a clear and exciting explanation that allows one to understand the background of the origin, evolution, and relevance of the Acropolis / Parthenon in the history of Athens. The guide led us with great professionalism and emotion through a journey across the centuries, revealing the significance, prominence, and relevance of this unique place in the history of Athens, Greece, and the Mediterranean. Highly recommended.
We did the tour of the Acropolis and the old town with Kimon (Simon) Antonelos. The experience was incredible and highly recommended. Simon is a person who is a pleasure to listen to because of his knowledge. He provides all kinds of details and explanations. If you go to the Acropolis, it is highly recommended to do the tour with him. Thank you very much. ☺️
Kimon, thank you for your wisdom and kindness. It was a very interesting tour, thanks to Kimon, he made it as enjoyable as possible and explained everything we needed to know with great kindness and enthusiasm. We didn't have any questions left to ask and we would do it again without a doubt. We recommend it!!!!
Our guide Darío was wonderful, a delight. He taught us a lot of things about Greece and recommended cool places in Greece. The only advice I give is to emphasize that they search your backpacks and if you have any open bag of food it cannot be brought in and they will make you throw it away or leave it in the lockers and it is not the same place as the exit, so you will have to go back a lot. We had to throw away the snacks we were carrying.
The guide was very pleasant and dynamic. It was very hot and it went by quickly
We loved the visit to the Acropolis. Dario, our guide, was charming; both his knowledge and his way of presenting the visit made the four hours feel short, even though it was extremely hot. If we return to Athens, we will repeat without a doubt.
A fantastic visit. We had very little time to visit Athens and thanks to Darío, our guide, we are leaving with the feeling of having made the most of our time: culture, mythology, architecture, art, religion, history, gastronomy, flora…. Everything very interesting and in just the right measure. It is clear that they care about the customer. Thank you.
