Terrible welcome, guide paid for mandatorily and uselessly
I arrived on site by private taxi, the ticket office attendant was quite rude, very hurried, and unwilling to give explanations! Most of the reception staff do not speak a word of English (an absurd thing in a tourist spot!) furthermore, we had to pay mandatorily for a completely useless guide because during the entire one-hour excursion she only whispered two half-sentences in French and when I asked if she could explain in English she replied no! practically a silent safari where you don't learn anything about the animals! if it weren't for the natural setting and the animals, I would highly recommend against it!! However, some animals are locked up like the hyenas, the turtles, and the crocodiles.

Close encounters with animals!
I recommend it! 1.5 hours meeting the animals. Well-maintained reserve with well-cared-for and well-fed animals. We saw many of them up close 😍😍

Excellent experience
We made 2 excursions with Senegal Excursion: reserve of Bandia and the lions + island of Gorée and pink lake. We were accompanied by Max and Alpha. Max is a wonderful guide who is taking care of everything. He knows all the sites perfectly. Go ahead with your eyes closed! Excursions cheaper than through travel agencies and very high quality. I highly recommend them

Perfect excursions!
We made two excursions (Bandia/Lake Rose Reserves and Saint-Louis/Lompoul) with Senegal Excursions and were delighted each time.
The organization was perfect and our guides, Adama and Alpha, were really friendly and always caring. Beyond the beauty of what we saw, we made some pretty encounters. Many thanks to Fatou with whom we were in contact when we booked but unfortunately we could not meet and obviously to Adama and Alpha with whom we shared moments of sharing that we will not forget.
I would add that the price/quality ratio is top!
