There are lots of consoles, some games are playable through the museum. There are cozy corners where you get 80s and 90s vibes for living and gaming on second floor is arcade for one and two players. There are few really old games which are more responsive than they seem, with rpm meter on the side for racing

This is probably the most fun I've had At a museum in 40 years. The collection was beautifully organized and curated, and I had an insane amount of fun playing games that spanned the entirety of my life. We went with a group only expecting we would be there for 30 minutes and ended up spending hours. Wish I'd had my kid with me, as she would've gone nuts in there. In a city that is known for its quirky museums, this was by far the best in my opinion. Well worth the small admission fee!

A museum spread across three levels, or “levels” ;) , that takes you on a chronological journey through the development of the video game industry, showcasing a large number of consoles and video games. Alongside the consoles, there are video clips showing what the games actually looked like, and most of the exhibits also have emulators where you can actually play the games. As you make your way through the museum, you pass by recreated teenage bedrooms from the ’80s, ’90s, and other eras. Along with the consoles, each room features typical decor from its respective period, so the posters on the walls, cassette tapes, Walkmans, and other details will definitely bring back memories and nostalgia for times gone by. The graphics, sounds, and joysticks took me straight back to my childhood and brought back memories of spending hours in front of the TV playing video games. Very rarely does a museum put a smile on my face, but this one definitely managed to do it! I would absolutely recommend visiting it!

There’s so much to see, discover and actually play, from iconic classics to games and consoles we had completely forgotten about. What makes this museum truly special is how interactive it is. You’re not simply looking at exhibits behind glass; you get to relive childhood memories, challenge the people you came with and completely lose track of time. The atmosphere is welcoming, the collection is impressive, and you can really feel the passion behind the entire place. Whether you grew up playing video games or are simply curious about their history, this museum is absolutely worth visiting. We left smiling, feeling nostalgic and already wanting to come back. A fantastic experience and an easy five stars!

Really enjoyed visiting Muzej Videoigara :) It was fun to see so many classic games and consoles, and it brought back a lot of great memories. The setup is well done, and being able to actually play some of the games made the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit if you're into gaming or if you want a nostalgic trip back to your childhood. :)
