Car rental AVIS on Sarajevo airport is terrible ... Avoid use this rental you will be disapointed . I make rezervation for 10 days in November 2025. it should cost me about 150 Us dolats for 9 days . But when i come to pick up car ,,,??? have to buy extra insurence 300 euro ar leave deposit 10,000 Euro . They did not accept my VISA insurance coverage .. And i reject my reservation .. Please avoid rental car from AVIS you will run in trouble
I rented from them a FANTASTIC convertible vintage car with which we spent a wonderful weekend with the sun in our face. The car was really dreamy, already 'from the first minutes of delivery we realized that we would be really good, excellent staff, kind and more than helpful. I especially appreciated the friendliness of Mr. Bruno who supported us from the very first contacts of this experience with kind ways. We hired Drivalia rental car via rent a car today. Paid in full via booking ,com and was told that it was inclusive of insurance. In the Drivalia rental terms includes Insurance, covers, and waivers. First of all we had to wait to be picked up from the airport. When we got to the reception we were told to take insurance with them. We informed that we have our own insurance. They still insists we have to take one with them. it will cost us £114. In the Drivalia rental terms includes Insurance, covers, and waivers. We refuse to take the insurance and left without taking the car and lost all the money we paid for the rental
