Guide did not show up.. Spent time pathetically trying to locate guide.. had received congiythe day before. Wasted trip. After 3 calls and leaving an insane red message reached someone who told me it had been cancelled. Stated an email had been sent. Not so. Requested & received refund. Will never again book this way and will tell others about this incredible experience. Had modified our plans for thus experience . Disaster really. So disappointed.
We traveled in September and the crowds weren’t too bad. Our guide was knowledgeable and did a fine job getting us up to speed on French history to appreciate the visit.

We had a great day at Versailles. It started off a little shaky as the train bringing the guide and some of the people were late. Johnny more than made up for it. He was very knowledgeable. The palace was very crowded but he was able to find us places to gather to tell us about the rooms. The grounds are gorgeous! I’d definitely recommend getting the tram tickets or renting the golf cart. We walked over 20,000 steps on this excursion.

Our guide, Julia, was very good, mixing the historical facts with a dose of humour. Versailles is expansive and with the gardens, you will need good shoes and lots of water. Expect large crowds. Despite that, Versailles is definitely worth the visit.

Guide was excellent Pacing of tour was good. Price for tour seemed high since group was 21 people. Would have expected much smaller group for what we paid.

Versailles allows 30 people per guide but we cap our tours at 20 - in very exceptional circumstances we may accept one more guest but it's extremely rare. We work hard to keep our prices competitive whilst maintaining the highest quality on our tours. Stanilaus is an excellent guide. He possessed much knowledge, not only of history, but art as well . He kept us on track and was humorous. The garden part of the tour seemed a bit short, but may have been due to some group members taking longer bathroom breaks. Tour company updated us on change of schedule, and asked for confirmation we could make new time. Overall, a very good experience.

Our guide knew the ropes of Versailles so well that we were able to easily navigate the crowded rooms. She was extremely knowledgeable, providing interesting details as we toured. We started with the gardens which gave us a great overview of the exterior of the buildings.
