My experience was...
My experience was disappointing. We were excited for this experience. When we arrived we were told that we could not get in as there was a scheduled piano concert and to come back the next day. We went back the next morning prior to another tour and the tickets would not scan. They let us in but everything was blocked off doe to another piano concert.
Operator response

Upon checking, your booking included flexible-entry tickets, allowing you to visit during the attraction’s operating hours. However, access may be restricted during scheduled concerts or special events organized by the attraction. We appreciate that the staff allowed you to revisit with the same tickets for following day.
Please note that such event schedules and access restrictions are managed by the attraction and are beyond our control. We regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

Exciting and rich!
It was a great emotion! A wonderful theater... with the audio guide we discovered many curiosities while comfortably seated in the audience, but not in front as the path stops halfway through the audience. Cost 12€. Unfortunately, no boxes were open (for safety reasons as they explained to me), but the royal stage is truly splendid! There is also a bookshop. On the second floor are the wonderful and large rooms.
The visit lasts about 40 minutes, but you can stay as long as you want. Closing at 6 PM.

Don't miss this.
I am not normally a fan of audio guides, but this one for La Fenice was exceptional.
And walking into the theater is kind of like was a small child must feel when the see the castle at Disneyland. It truly blows you away.
We highly recommend this experience.

Spectacular opera house but audio guide was unhelpful
This opera house was rebuilt most recently in 2003 after a 1996 fire apparently caused by arson set by the electricians. The building is spectacular but the audio guide was very boring and frankly unhelpful. There was a section on Maria Callas which was completely useless. Just read the Wikipedia page for all the important information and enjoy the beauty of this opera house. Make sure to go upstairs and sit in the Royal Box, which was created for Napoleon.
Operator response

Don’t buy a ticket early
The theater was awesome. The problem was that I never received the ticket from Viator, just a voucher. The people in the ticket office could not find a ticket either so I had to pay again for a new ticket to see La Fenice.
Operator response

Upon reviewing your booking, we identified that the actual tickets and related access details were duly shared via email one day prior to your visit. We sincerely wish we had been contacted during your visit so we could have assisted you immediately with the actual tickets and helped avoid any inconvenience.

Very poor experience
Don’t book this tour. Viator doesn’t tell you that you need to check the calendar to see if the Theatre is open to tours. However, they are happy to take your money for a tour you cannot use!
Operator response

Upon reviewing your booking, we identified that the theatre was operational on the day of your visit. As this is a flexible ticket, the experience can be accessed during the theatre’s operational hours.

Beautiful theater
Easy to get tickets with the operator. Theater was beautiful and had some interesting history, but overall the experience felt short relative to the cost. Still, happy we got to see it.
