Vam Sat Mangrove Forest - VIP Private Tour

We booked this outing expecting it to be dappled with other tourists and came to pleasantly find we had the whole reserve to ourselves! September is considered an off season but this was a surprise and delight for us. I have to commend our guide Steven and all the staff inside the park in never wavering their enthusiasm and eagerness to help us experience the mangrove forest as it should be! About 2 hours outside of the city, this excursion feature multiple forms of transport via car, ferry, speedboat, and canoe. There are so many different animals to see and much enrichment from being amongst the forest. I highly recommend this to all nature enthusiasts! I did not know what to expect but after this educational and fun packed day, I would say this was my favorite activity of our trip! Big thanks to Steven and the Indochina Travel team!

We had a wonderful time visiting the mangrove and learning about the history of the place (and Vietnam in general). Max was a great guide and really knowledgeable, thanks again and hopefully we'll meet again! Seeing monkeys, bats, birds and navigating in the mangrove was so refreshing in the middle of a trip with so busy and lively cities

We saw many friendly monkeys, some bats, and even got to feed crocodiles. Mom was a great conversationalist and spoke great English. Easy 5/5

Fun activities, lovely landscape, friendly guide and not too far from Saigon. I really enjoyed travel.by speed boat and look out to the mangrove forest.

We spent a wonderful day at Vam Sat Mangrove Reserve with our guide Max. His excellent English, combined with a comprehensive knowledge of the reserve’s natural features and wildlife, made for an enjoyable and educational experience. This was our first excursion since arriving in Vietnam, and we were very happy to have spent it with Max, who made us feel most welcome!

Wonderful day spent exploring the mangroves, with Kevin as our guide. Very professional and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions patiently and showed us around well. My sons enjoyed his conversation with them. Thank you Kevin for all your efforts.

First, our guide Max was extremely knowledgeable and taught us not only about the flora and fauna, but also the history of the area. We really enjoyed being in nature, getting to see the wildlife and getting away from the city. Highly recommend.

Communication was fantastic, used Whatsapp. Max was a fantastic guide, he was charming and fun to talk to. He knew I wanted to meet the monkeys, and he made sure I did. We stopped for food, wow! So good, more than I could eat. I would do it again and I would say, money well spent. Max, thankyou for a wonderful day.
