To start on a good note, it was $800 for transportation and having the company book the wine tastings and lunch. The meeting spot was easy to find and crossing the border was smooth. Our driver, Alexis, was excellent and we felt safe the whole day. We visited Cava Maciel, Monte Xanic, Casa Magoni, and had lunch at Finca Altozano. Each winery was amazing but Monte Xanic was extra special with their interactive sensory tasting and incredible views. I was excited to book with Baja Winery Tours based on their well informed website and great reviews, but when my reservation came near, communication became poor and the team was disrespectful. I asked in advance when the deadline is to submit the wineries i’d like to visit and I submitted my final request in August. But yet the week prior to my reservation, almost my entire reservation was adjusted and I was expected to go along with it. I politely asked to visit Monte Xanic for its prestigious reputation and I was told that I was making the booking process very complicated. After I made it known to them that I paid $100 for the company to help reserve the wine tastings, they then tried to say that it took them a long time to get back to me because the wineries themselves are hard to reach. I would have been more than willing to collaborate with them on other wineries to choose, but they put me in a position where I had to boon Monte Xanic on my own and I did not appreciate being contacted last minute. I was practically gaslighted and I was in so much shock that a company would even speak to a client in such a way. Unfortunately, I would tell people to book with another company unless they’re okay with this company choosing wineries for them.

Awesome wine tour
Great wine tour organized by Baja Wine Tours! We loved our driver Daniel, he was a great guide and made the trip even more fun with suggestions of where to go to end the night. The bus was comfortable, they provided waters, and we enjoyed all the stops - Vena Cava, Decantos Vinicius and Solar Fortun.
