When we arrived at the place requested we found no-one. After much scrambling around, we finally located our tour guide. He had no info on us and was confused as well…. He (Casper) was very gracious but his other pick -up was wrong also. So he did the tour with us only. I’m sure at a great loss to him. As I understand it, Viator sells the tours to a third party (scheduler) who subs it out to the tour folks. A+ for Casper Tours - F for Viator!
The tour guide did not know much about Curaçao at all. Every time we asked a question about the history, he didn’t really know the answer.His voice was lvery low when he spoke no microphone, and he mumbled. Could not understand much of what he was saying during the tour and I was sitting right on the first seat in the front which by the way the bus that he used was like a little van that was really in bad shape that seats were uncomfortable. you had nowhere to put your feet and the seats were falling apart and breaking. I spend a lot of time when we arrived at the port to find my tour because the instructions were not clear or aware of where he was going to meet us. I would definitely not recommend this tour company at all.

It was a wonderful experience—the people were friendly and attentive. The tour was very comfortable; it exceeded my expectations. The places they took us to were beautiful, and they made sure we were all happy. Thank you, Caribbean Experiences.
Although the tour was inclusive of going throughout the whole island, the tour guide himself named Casper did not know much about the history of the different places he took us to. He spoke in a very low voice that you could barely hear him, and I was in the front seat. It seems like this must be a new endeavor for him, and I would imagine he must own the company because the name of his shirt was Casper and he said his name was Casper and the driver also had a shirt with the name Casper on it. That would be the only way that he is still employed by this Company. He was a nice gentleman just did not speak clearer and mostly mumbled in a low voice and did not know much when customers asked him questions about the island. He had no answers. I would suggest that this tour guide takes a history book and learns all about Curacao in the different areas that he takes people to see so he can explain the history of the downtown area, etc. The van itself was also old and rattling, but at least he did take us back on time to our ship.
