Under the Stars: 2 Days Camping in Egypt’s White Desert

Excellent experience with Egypt Safari Tours. The attention and communication were rated 10; they were always attentive to our needs, concerned at every moment when we went on the desert tour to ensure we were okay (it is worth noting that we had no signal); the drivers and guides were very careful and very respectful. Totally recommendable. We made the transfer from Luxor to Aswan, the Abu Simbel tour, and the desert tour.

I was terrified of spending a night in the desert, having never slept in a tent in my life, and I was afraid of various animals, but our two drivers, we were in two cars with four people plus them, pampered us, prepared everything, and it was an unforgettable experience. The excursion to the Bahariya oasis, the black desert, and the white desert, with a night in the desert, is one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had. In addition to breathtaking landscapes, we were accompanied by experienced and competent guides and 4x4 drivers. After visiting the black desert, we ventured into the dunes of the white desert where the camp for dinner and the night was set up. A breathtaking experience, from the sunset lights to the ocean of stars visible at night, free from light pollution. Excellent food cooked on the spot (always very abundant) and entertainment with singing and tambourines. The day after breakfast, we are once again exploring the white desert with its unique limestone rock formations. Special mention to our driver Mahamood for his competence and friendliness!

Back yesterday from a fantastic trip to Egypt. The pyramids of Giza and the beautiful Egyptian museum in Cairo with an excellent guide in Italian. The oasis of Siwa with its ancient citadels and turquoise salt lake, a spectacle of nature, But, above all, from the Bahariya oasis to the wonderful black desert, the crystal mountain, the white desert with overnight stay at the tented camp and Bedouin dinner: Osama and Achmed pampered us with a 5-star dinner. The White Desert and the Black Desert are unlike anywhere else: silent, vast, and almost unreal. Sleeping under the stars was the highlight, beautiful and unforgettable! Everything was smooth and well organized, and it really felt like a full immersion in the landscape.
