A must do in Venice
This Was the best way to start our time in Venice. Camilla is born and bred in Venice and showed us many of the backstreets that tourists miss. She showed us delicious restaurants that we ate at and paid half the price of anywhere in Italy so far. Her local knowledge and love for the place gave us a great orientation and our own love for the people and the place. The final rooftop view (not accessible apart from the tour) & waterside prosecco in a beautiful hotel was the pièce de résistance. This was well worth the money. You’ll see and learn things that you would never learn without a local’s insights. I highly recommend this tour, and strongly suggest doing it at the start of your stay. If in any doubt, let Intrepid’s commitment to sustainable tourism push you over the li e. A big thank you to Camilla for your kindness and hospitality in sharing your home with us. You really made our trip to Venice! ❤️

Get off the beaten path
Irene was the guide and she was great. Lots of local history and walks through non-crowded, non-tourist neighborhoods. Got a good feel of Venice and its geography as well. Highly recommend

Fabulous experience!
Fabulous experience with Carmella, taking us around the local and less known about places in Venice - fish market, recommended restaurants, chocolatier, shops, one of the few rooftop terraces accessible finishing with a Prosecco by the water. Lots seen in the time frame with a friendly and helpful guide. Thank you!
