Ultimate Desert Experience - Family Buggy

We did the family buggy’s during our holiday overall a good experience However was sold as a star gazing then told it would be a extra cost to use the telescope, fine but still didn’t do any stargazing at all even without telescopes Camels included but once the kids were half way they refused to move further until tips given Also I have never met such a pushy photographer! Must of said no about 10x ended up buying in the end so we would be left alone! The trip itself was good but driving back in the pitch black half the buggy’s and quads had no lights thankfully my husband was driving as I wouldn’t have seen a thing! Have recommend to friends but have informed them to make sure they take extra money!

We were in Egypt for 2 weeks and decided to do the ultimate desert experience and it was an amazing experience with Falcon, from start to finish the atmosphere was fantastic. We also arranged our private transfer from the airport to the hotel. We have also booked our private transfers with them when we go to Hurghada next year.

Our son is a wheelchair user who can only take a few steps unaided. Our holiday company’s rep in resort couldn’t arrange an accessible desert trip for us, so we contacted Falcon Tours directly on WhatsApp and booked at their office. We’re so glad we did. We booked the private guided buggy safari in the Sinai desert (evening of 18 August): Bedouin show, dinner, camel rides and stargazing, £180 for the four of us. We were clear about our son’s needs from the start, and Falcon quietly sorted everything without fuss. They laid on a private 4x4 to get us there while the rest of the group went by coach, and a private taxi minibus for the return. Both were as accessible as possible without being dedicated wheelchair vehicles. We had two private guides across the evening, who swapped over partway through, and both were exceptional. They carried our son between the buggy and his wheelchair, and at the stops the second guide held him securely on his quad bike so we didn’t need to transfer to the wheelchair each time. They even let our youngest drive the quad back to camp, which was the highlight of the trip. At dinner we were seated on the front row and never once felt left behind or forgotten; a guide even fetched a second plate of food for our eldest. The stargazing was private, with an expert using telescopes and a laser to point out the constellations. Please note that there are two photographers on the trip, both charged separately. The first offers a printed group photo at the start. The second photographer, who supports the whole tour, followed us all evening and we came away with around 80 digital photos, several videos and a slideshow. There is some selling at the first Bedouin village when you stop for camel rides (which were included) of drinks, perfume and souvenirs, but no hard pressure to buy. If you have a wheelchair user in your family and have been told a desert safari isn’t possible, it might well be with Falcon Tours. We only wish we’d caught our guides’ names so we could thank them here. Falcon, you’ll know who was on the private booking that evening. They were amazing.

We had an amazing time on our family buggy adventure in the desert! Everything was well organised, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the experience was so much fun from start to finish. It was a fantastic family experience and definitely one of the highlights of our holiday in Sharm El Sheikh. We would highly recommend them!

We had a great time on the desert trip would highly recommended. Great for families and couples. We got well looked after by all the staff! We had nice food and drink too 😊

Was dubious about this excursion due to the fact we had a 2 year old going on the buggy but it was amazing you go at a good steady pace but the stops along the way make it a great experience and the show was amazing. The camel ride is a good addition especially for the little ones. Don't miss this one it's amazing

We stayed in the Coral Sea Aqua Club which was next door to the shop. We booked a couple of excursions including this one, and were pleasantly surprised to be served by two British ladies. The excursions are very reasonably priced, and a lot cheaper than booking through the TUI rep based in the hotel. This particular excursion saw us go for a dune buggy ride through the desert to echo mountain, where the mountains talk back to you. We then set off to a Bedouin settlement where you can have tea (not included) and buy locally made goods. You also have the option of going for a short camel ride there which is only £5 each. You then drive back to your start point across the desert where you will be taken back to your hotel.

Play experience with the buggy had a really good time our guide was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Not sure of his name but allin all we had a great morning, enjoy the experience very much

We emailed Falcon Adventure Excursions before we arrived in Sharm, to get some idea what we wanted to do, a price list was sent to us promptly and and questions we asked. On arrival to Sharm, I messaged them and within 10 mins we had our trips booked and sorted,and we could go back to enjoying our pool time 😊 We booked 3 trips with them, yellow submarine, ultimate desert experience and a return trip to Soho Square....we loved every min of every one! The car we went to Soho Square was stunning, clean and amazing air con! We had messages after all our trips to check we were happy...we were!! We will one 100% use falcon again on our return...so much so I've been already looking at the trips list again!

We recently used Falcon adventure for Airport transfer and two excursions whilst on holiday in Sharm. The drivers were always on time or early and all vehicles were nice and had air conditioning. The two excursions were brilliant and great value...we did the white island boat trip and Ultimate desert experience ! All the staff we encountered were very professional and great fun. All communication with the office was brilliant and I would highly recommend Falcon to anyone going to sharm.
