Auckland in a Day
The experience was worthwhile & comprehensive. I was able to see so much of Auckland in just a day & nothing felt rushed. Our tour guide Simon was very friendly, knowledgeable & prepared. Cheeky caters to guests comfort & convenience with water & light snacks available on the bus. I travelled solo & despite being the only person who booked the full day (not just the afternoon), Cheeky Kiwi did not cancel. They even accommodated a couple whose Rotuora tour was cancelled & they joined us.
Definitely recommend. This tour is value for money

Auckland in a Day
Oct. 2026
I travelled solo & despite the fact I was the only person on that day to book the full day tour & Cheeky did not cancel the morning period sightseeing. I was very pleased about this. It so happened that a couple who were scheduled to do another tour joined this one. The guide Simon was very friendly, accommodating & prepared and knowledge.
Cheeky’s guests are well taken care of. They even have water & light snacks on board and umbrellas if it rains.
I recommend this tour.

Literally the entire city!!
Truly a full city tour!! Matt was wonderful and took us everywhere. We were only in the city for 48 hours so this really did it all!! Heads up if you are expecting to wander around downtown this isn’t the tour for you. This is more a driving tour to varying parks and beaches.
Operator response
Kia ora Megan!
48 hours in Auckland and you made the most of it — that's the spirit! We love that Matt got you out to the parks and beaches rather than just the usual downtown loop. There's so much more to this city once you get off the main drag, and it sounds like you got to see exactly that.
Really appreciate you flagging the style of the tour for future travellers too — that kind of honest heads-up is genuinely helpful.
Hope the rest of your time in Aotearoa was just as good. We'd love to have you back if you're ever passing through again! 🚌🥝

Appreciate tour guide Simon
My tour guide is Simon. He is nice, patient and polite. He knows English is not my first language. But he will try his best to use easier English to lets us understand the story behind. That’s an enjoyable and comfortable tour.

Day tour
I got an e mail that they may have to cancel this tour and it was very unsure if they would do it right up until the day before. That was stressful but I am glad that it was able to proceed because it was so fun! Got to see so many things and great photo opportunities. A wonderful lunch! Matt was our guide and he was so great to help us see things and answer questions.
Operator response
Thank you for your patience and for sticking with us! We're sorry for the uncertainty in the lead up, and so glad the tour went ahead and you had such a fun day. It's wonderful to hear Matt helped make it so memorable. We hope to see you again!

Full day worth it.
This was a great trip. I highly recommend the full day experience if going to be in Auckland for only a short time as gives a picture of Auckland and it's surroundings. For some travelers, it might even help to decide more in depth adventures to take.
This was my second trip with Simon in a week. He is absolutely great!!!! He provided great commentary on the things visited, made certain all in group were engaged. In our group, we decided what places to go/see based on options he noted. Oh yes, although I don't drink coffee, those who do enjoyed the place he selected.

Kia ora!
So wonderful to hear you enjoyed the full-day Auckland experience and that Simon made both trips so engaging. It’s great when the commentary, flexibility, and little extras like the coffee stop all come together to make the day memorable. Sounds like you really got a good feel for Auckland and its surroundings!
We’d love to welcome you back for more adventures in the future. Until then, safe travels and thanks again for choosing Cheeky Kiwi!

Simon was very professional he took us to a lovely place for lunch.
Simon was absolutely brilliant went above and beyond to make sure we seen as much as we could, nothing was too much trouble.
Operator response
Kia ora!
Sounds like a cracking day out around Auckland. Simon has a real knack for making the most of the day, and it’s great to hear he went the extra mile to fit in as much as possible while still keeping things relaxed. A good lunch spot never hurts either, especially on a full day exploring.
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and for choosing the Ultimate Auckland Experience with us. We’d love to have you back for another adventure next time you’re in town.
Ngā mihi,
