Slow down and jump on a bike in Ubud
Highly recommend this cycling tour. It’s such a great way to explore more of Ubud and take it slowly. My guide was local Wayan who was the perfect person for the job. Happy, patient and knowledgeable. Lots of beautiful views of lush rice paddies, off the beaten track areas which are actually only 5-10 mins from main area, opportunities to chat with locals and stop whenever you like. I thoroughly enjoyed our chats about Bali life and neeting locals and a fresh coconut.
Booking online via WhatsApp was so easy and convenient. The reservation team were so helpful and even with very late requests they offered this cycling tour quickly and made sure this was a good match for me. It was.
Slow down, get back in a bike and enjoy a little exploration with a reliable team.

Very enjoyable!
Wonderful way to get to see Ubud from a different perspective. And being on bikes is a bit cooler than walking :-). Glad that we took the time.

Wonderful cycle tour with Mudita, he is very knowledgeable, kind and funny. We tasted some new fruits (the one with the snakeskin) and could take a break whenever needed. Very much worth doing.

Delightful morning in Ubud
My husband and I had a wonderful morning cycling with Gustu. We met in the soccer field and went for a wonderful cycle around the rice paddies. There are some parts that are uphill but Gustu was sure to communicate when they were coming and was happy to stop at any point to take a break. There are also some parts that are narrow, I am not a super confident rider but managed just fine! We stopped at a lovely shop for some coconut water and fruit, visited a local artist and saw lots of people working on their harvest. It was a really amazing tour.
Operator response
Well done on completing this adventurous route. We do have an easier downhill option, but that's on a full day tour while you opted for a half-day one with more exercise. Gustu really enjoyed sharing his knowledge about Ubud and Bali. We look forward to sharing more of Bali with you on our other cycling routes!

Highly Recommend Eco Cycling Tour
The entire experience was awesome. The staff were highly responsive and helpful with confirming before we arrived in Bali and then again once we arrived in country. The pickup/drop off was easy. The tour guides were highly knowledgeable and professional and eager to share about their country. It felt very authentic and we were able to see so much by bike! We learned a ton and we are so happy we did it at the beginning of our trip because we were able to take that knowledge with us throughout our remaining adventures. Highly recommend!
Operator response
This half-day tour usually doesn't come with pick up / drop off, it starts and finishes at the Ubud (Peliatan) soccer field. You may have gone on our full day Bali Eco Educational Cycling tour, which currently is not yet up on Viator/Trip Advisor. The full day tour includes pick up, breakfast, snacks along the way as well as lunch at the end, with an option of visiting a waterfall or the monkey forest if it is on the way back to your accommodation.
The half day tour being more exercise, while the full day tour more of a pleasure cruise in the countryside... but we also have other routes in different parts of Bali.
This particular tour gives you a backstage pass to see Ubud's environs. A must-do if you are spending some time in Ubud, as you learn about the shortcuts that avoid the traffic jams.

Great tour, off the beaten path
Great tour! Friendly, knowledgeable guide and interesting stops along the way. The riding part was easy almost entirely downhill with just a few short (like 50m max) up hill stretches. Bikes were well functioning and safe.
The waterfall/swim stop at the end was beautiful and a perfect way to finish.
Highly recommended

Nice, quiet and very informative.
A very pleasant bicycle-tour. Down-hill. Cycling trough small streets, no traffic. It was very nice to be away from all the noise and tourists in Ubud. Visiting a village, looking at temples, rice-fiels ( we were able to 'help' the farmer in the field).
Our guide, Wayan Dolar, was a very good guide: he speaks English very well, took al the time, we had a lot of questions and he all answered them.
Operator response
Thank you for recommending our Bali Eco Educational Cycling Tour, which is a full-day tour including pick up, drop-off, breakfast and lunch. As the route is mostly downhill, this is a pleasure cruise through rural Bali with lots of educational stops.
The Ubud Eco Culture Cycling Exploration is a 3-hour round-trip that starts and finishes at the Peliatan Socer Field in Ubud. This trip can be quite strenuous as it has long uphill sections.
I'm including this so people reading don't book the wrong activity. Thanks for recommending us!

Our Fourth time on this tour was The Best!!! Wonderful experience and AMAZING Guide, Gustu!!
This was our FOURTH cycling tour with Bali Eco and they just seem to get better!!! Our guide GUSTU was unanimously voted as the BEST GUIDE any of our group of 10 had EVER experienced, and between us all we have done a LOT of tours worldwide. He was funny, super engaging, helpful, respectful and extremely knowledgeable on all local Balinese topics. We rode through quaint villages, stunning countyside, stopped at a local family compound / farmlet, tiny paths through ricefields and tricky / exciting bushy laneways. Our breakfast over looking the beautiful Mt Batur and lake was great, as was our recovery lunch in a lovely lake setting. Great trip and we will most likely be back for a fifth adventure!!!
Operator response
Wow...It sounds like you had an incredible experience on your cycling tour with Bali Eco, especially with Gustu as your guide. His expertise and engaging personality must have made the trip truly memorable. Riding through picturesque villages, lush countryside, and experiencing local culture firsthand sounds like an unforgettable adventure. And those breakfast and lunch settings overlooking Mt Batur and the lake sound absolutely breathtaking. It's no wonder you're already considering coming back for a fifth adventure! Thanks for sharing your amazing experience.
Best regards

Back streets and rice fields of Ubud - Nice
This was a great way to spend 2-3 hours in the morning. Our guide was sincere and genuine, teaching us about local traditions in an earnest way. The half day cycle was fun, a little challenging up-hill in places, but a great way to see the back streets and by-ways of Ubud. Would recommend!
Also got to sample some local fruit!
