Turkey Flyer 8-Day: Istanbul, Pamukkale, Cappadocia, Ephesus

We have been home barely a week and our Türkiye holiday with Fez travels was fantastic. Fathi Karci , our guide, mentor, educator and friend was everything we could have hoped for with his incredible knowledge of the history of Turkiye, relaxed nature and helpfulness , he certainly helped us in our journey, to learn, have fun and enjoy his country. What holiday! It was memorable and we will never forget Türkiye, the people we traveled with and the fun we had! Thanks Fahti and our expert driver.

We loved it!!! Our tour guide "Halil" was excellent. Knowledgeable, courteous, accommodating, and pleasant to be with. The driver "Ehan" spelling? was equally nice and very accommodating. The tour itself was amazing with lots of ancient history to discover.

Ours was a small group tour with Fez Travel and our tour guide Göksu and driver Murat were exceptional at their respective trades. The vehicle was a very well maintained, air conditioned bus that did not make increased air conditioning noise for rear seats, tinted windows. Göksu as a guide spoke excellent English gave information in depth, displaying a very educated and professional delivery that brought inanimate ruins alive with their history and antiquity at each of the sites visited. Along with in-depth explanations of the major sites the intra site travels were dotted with discussions and many questions about contemporary politics, religion, environmental and in particular competent descriptions regarding agricultural activities covering the whole of the republic of Turkey. The agricultural side of things was a personal interest. It all happens in Turkey, pulse, oilseeds, cereals, livestock, poultry, nuts, figs, prunus, citrus, pomes and of course olives. Not to mention the quarries for marble, amazing! Our experience and interaction with Turkish people from rural areas to major cities from small cafes to 3 - 5 star accommodation was understanding, friendly and safe. Based on our tour l would gladly recommend Fez Travel small tours to people looking for reliability and competency to deliver expert information. Forget the politics Turkey is an amazing country.

What a great trip! So many amazing things to see in Istanbul, Kusadasi, Cappadocia, etc. The ancient cities were terrific. The hot air balloon ride was magical. Our guide Cagman knew EVERYTHING. We felt safe the entire time. Turkey is definitely underrated and we highly recommend you come visit this amazing country.

Caanan and team was great and responsive and always on time. Guides Done and Ege were very well informed and tours were therefore very interesting. Kids loved uncle Cengis the driver who was sweetest man ever. Done did Capadoccia and Konya and had great knowledge of Capadoccia and its history. I felt her knowledge on Konya and Rumi perhaps a bit limited as I have done a tour there before and it was alot more detailed regarding the items in the museum, Ege and UNcle Cengis was great to travel with and we miss them dearly. Ege is so helpful, and knowledgeable and went at our pace. they are a great team and are great to travel with. It is great to have a private guide and shuttle between cities and towns as one can really relax, and set your own pace. Also private guided tour are so personalised and our kids really enjoyed the information even though it was alot.

The tour was really well organised and paced. The guide, Tamer, was knowledgeable, personable, thoughtful and responsive to the needs of the group. The choice of hotels was excellent with good additional options for activities. After booking there was excellent communication and planning by Fez Travel. I really recommend this company and tour.

It was a lovely experience to watch village and having emphasis tour with our tour guide ulas. He made everything so comfortable for us and had good knowledge of the property and things around.

Highly recommend a private guide for the big historical sites, if you are interested in the places you get so much more information. You can also set the start times each day ! This was without doubt one of the best tours we have participated in. We were a small group of 13, which was an absolute bonus. The hotels and food were most satisfactory and the bus was very comfortable. This being our first experience of Turkey, we were unsure of what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. The Turkish people that we met were very helpful and friendly and we visited all the main highlights of this beautiful country. Our tour guide, the excellent Mr Goksu Pamir, with his extensive knowledge of his country’s history, his patience, kindness and unflappable demeanour made this trip very special indeed. The driver, Saffee, was skilful and true to his name (safe), and also friendly and courteous. The highlights of our tour were the visit to Gallipoli and to be a part of 100+ hot air balloons aloft over Cappadocia on May 13....a magical sight and a truly unforgettable experience. Fez Travel is to be commended for their efficiency and professionalism. I did not have to worry, as I often do, if the transfers were going to show up or if the domestic flight had been correctly booked. Everything ran like clockwork which is most unusual. Finally, I note that one of our group complained about the length of the bus travel times on some days, they obviously don’t know what a long day on the road is! (Haha, we are from Australia) . We, on the other hand thought that the bus trips were very well planned, with adequate breaks in between and not at all uncomfortable. Thanks, Fez Travel! We took 9 day tour from Istanbul. Every thing was perfect. The tour guide Goksu Pamir went above and beyond the services offered by tour. He took care of all our needs. The driver Yilmaz was also an excellent driver and companion. Keep up the good work Fez Travel! Amit696
