Itinerary
Upon entering the park, you will notice the limitless flat and dry earth, which will kick-start your adventure. You will spend the entire morning looking for wildlife in Tsavo’s semi-arid to arid habitat, fed by the confluence of the Tsavo and Athi River, forming the Galana River. Alongside the wildlife attractions, you will also see the Yatta Plateau on the horizon, billed as the world’s largest lava flow, followed by lunch at a hotel recommended by your driver. After lunch, you will continue with an afternoon game drive to appreciate Tsavo’s scenic views. Tsavo is known for being an unforgiving place where animals crowd into smaller spaces to access water and habitat, making them more susceptible to predators. Later, we will unwind from the game drives, exit the park, and proceed to coastal Beach, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.

The visit was a great chance to slow down and enjoy nature. I spent time watching giraffes, antelopes, and other animals as they moved around their surroundings. The atmosphere felt peaceful, and the cool breeze made the walk even more enjoyable. I liked how relaxed the animals appeared, making it easy to sit back and take in the moment. It was a simple outing, but one that left a lasting impression.
I honestly did not expect my birthday to turn out the way it did. My girlfriend surprised me with a trip to Tsavo, and from the first drive through the park, there was always something interesting to look out for. One of my favorite moments was watching a rhino slowly feeding on grass while everyone quietly admired it from a distance. We also came across different kinds of monkeys, each bringing their own energy to the day. What surprised me most was spotting a porcupine, something I never thought I would see because they are known for keeping out of sight during the day. Looking back, it wasn't just about the animals it was the excitement of never knowing what would appear next and sharing those moments with someone who made the birthday so special.
We had booked a private safari. We were picked up as promised around 5 in the morning. We then drove to Tsavo East national park and got tickets to enter the park. Within a hour and a half we had already seen elephants, hippo’s, giraffes, gazelles and then even lions. They walked right next to our vehicle. It was an amazing experience. Our guide Nico was very chill, he answered all our questions and was very interested in us. This made us feel very relaxed.
Nickolas was our guide! Very polite and friendly man! Great adventure! Would love to visit again!
Stephen is a good guy! Thank u Stephen
Nicholas was a great guide! Took us to see the lions and told us lots of information about the wildlife. Amazing experience
We had a great day trip and enjoyed every minute of it. Stefen showed us many different animals, and we were able to explore a large part of Tsavo East National Park, so we could see a lot of this impressive landscape. He gave us a lot of exciting information about the animals and found exactly the right balance: enough explanations, enough time for photos and at the same time the opportunity to simply observe the animals in peace. This made the whole tour very relaxed and enjoyable. Since it was just the beginning of the off-season, our group was also quite small, which made the experience even more personal and beautiful. For me, the tour was excellent in terms of value for money, and I can absolutely recommend Stefen as a guide.
