Triglav winter edition

Thank you Savina so much for the wonderful tour of the Lake Bohinj area you took us on today. We really enjoyed spending time with you, learning about the region, the culture and customs of the Slovenian people. Thank you for the pics you took of us and the videos of Slovenians traditional music. Our highlight was trekking the Mostnica Gorge and taking in the sights and sounds of spectacular natural wonder

This was my first time viaiting Slovenia, and it's such a beautiful country that is highly underated. The winter ascent of Triglav is spectacular, and our guide Matevz was just the best in making it such a memorable experience. The pacing of our small group was well managed, taking the time for some photography shots, sharing stories about Slovenia & Triglav, and, of course ensuring we were safe at all times. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and very glad we choose Altitude Activities. Also successful summits for our whole group! :)

Triglav in winter has a fairytale setting and the views are beautiful. Matevz was an excellent guide and we felt safe throughout. The trip pushed us in terms of difficulty but at the same we felt in control throughout. Highly recommended!

We went on the Bohinj Lake Winter tour from Bled. What a wonderful day! Our guide was Alex, who was so friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. First we walked to the Savica waterfall which was lovely, then we went to the shore of beautiful Lake Bohinj. Then Alex took us to the Vogel cable car and we spent an hour looking at the stunning views from the top and had a coffee and a hot dog. But I think the highlight of the day was the hike along the Mostnica Gorge with its amazing jade green pools and white rocks. And the weather was incredible! Thank you Altitude Activities for enabling us to experience the natural beauty of Slovenia.

It is my second time visiting Slovenia and I've always wanted to climb Triglav the highest mountain in Slovenia. I just started hiking couple months ago and wanted the next challenge. So I came back to Slovenia and booked to climb Mount Triglav. Matevz was my guide and cannot ask for anyone better than him. He is very caring, patient and understanding. Matevz also chose the routes that were not only fun but also challenging. He gave me great tips on improving my technique that helped me to complete those routes with ease. I had such an amazing experience to reach the summit of Triglav the highest mountain in Slovenia. And I am very thankful of choosing Altitude Activities again.

Matevž is an exemplary guide who made our Triglav summit a truly unforgettable experience. He was wonderfully efficient, with detailed explanations (in perfect English) and amazing local knowledge so we knew immediately that we were in good hands. All kit provided was in great condition, and he provided insightful advice for the remainder of our adventure, in terms of both equipment and routes. It was very easy to organise, even though we planned the trip very last minute. The summit itself is technical in places but otherwise reasonably straightforward, though I wouldn't attempt it without a guide, especially whilst there's still snow on the peak. There are gaps between via ferrata sections despite the terrain remaining exposed. Reaching the Kredarica hut directly from the Krma valley requires a decent fitness level, although it was manageable for the 2 of us (both 22). All in all it was a lovely experience and we'd highly recommend Altitude Activities for anyone wishing to complete this challenge, and big thanks to Matevž for an impeccable adventure!

I booked a last minute trip with Altitude Activities who happily catered for my request, A solo winter ascent of Mount Triglav. Originally in contact with Aleksandra via email, she was able to give me help, advise and organise a guide for me. Then via WhatsApp, I was put in contact with Matevs, my guide for the trip. I cannot recommend Matevs enough! He is the joint founder of Altitude Activities, with an amazing wealth of knowledge and an ability to keep the company up to date and meet the clients needs. He was very easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable and confident. We had some great discussions during the overnight stay in Kendrica Hut and really put me at ease during the winter climb to the summit and back down to the hut. These guides are fully qualified, experienced and know exactly what they are doing! 100% reccomend and can't wait to come back soon! Thank you Altitude Activities

We’ve been on Triglav with Matevz and it was an incredible experience. We slept in the hut and had the lucky to be the ones there in a familiar atmosphere... Matevz was great, he help us and let us feel secure in every moment. A special thanks to Peter that join us for the ascent to the top in the morning with a unique sunrise. From the word go this company we’re first class! Matevz is next level when it comes to guiding plus his camera skills are very impressive too which was a extra bonus. I seriously can’t recommend Altitude Activities enough. Plan to go out in the summer and do the North face of Triglav, will definitely be booking with these guys again.

I arrived in Bled without a tour and I asked Mat to help us and he did it. It was an amazing trip, we will not forget never such an amazing landscape in Slovenia. Also, we had so much fun with Mat. He is very kind, funny and knows about his country. He was worried about we visited all the stuff we wanted. For far we enjoy the tour and the company of Mat. We surely recommend to take a tour with Altitude activities. We wish u the best and hope to see u soon.
