I expected Insider Tours Transnistria being something unusual, and I came away with one of the most memorable travel experiences I've ever had. Everything was handled with a level of care and professionalism that made a destination people describe as "complicated" feel completely effortless. The organisation was flawless. Border formalities, transfers, accommodation, timings — all taken care of. Our guide, Andrei, was the heart of the trip: warm, endlessly patient with questions, and genuinely knowledgeable. This wasn't a rehearsed script. It was history, politics and daily life explained with nuance and honesty, always leaving room to form your own opinion. We saw Tiraspol with its Soviet-era architecture and monuments, quiet villages, houses od cultures, mosaics and hidden gems. But what really made the difference were the moments you'd never find on your own: conversations with local people, small cafés, the everyday rhythm of a place that few travellers ever get to see up close. I felt welcome everywhere, and never once unsafe. If you're curious about Transnistria, do it — and do it with Insider Tours. They know the territory, they know the people, and they give you access and context that no guidebook can. Excellent value, real insight, and three days I'll be talking about for a long time. Highly recommended.
