Traditional Irish Musical Pub Crawl

Description
This is an authentic night of Irish music, songs, and stories. Immerse yourself in a night of Irish culture and join the fun. There is a lot of audience participation as we teach you about the songs and music of Ireland. This is a listening show and all about the music. We only visit two pubs, so it's not a boozy pub crawl. The pubs are privately booked for the tour so seats are guaranteed and the tour is led by two wonderful Irish musicians who are your guides for the night. Learn about Irish culture, its musical instruments, and traditions.

Love this musical pub tour! It’s the 2nd time I’ve done it! Each time you get different musicians playing different instruments. I really appreciate the rich history the musicians share about the songs and the instruments. Megs & Owen were wonderful musical hosts. And the 2 pubs we visited : the Ha’Penny Inn Pub & Flannigans are great pubs fairly close to each other (maybe a 10 minute walk apart).
Ross and Frank were our hosts and gave us the best night of our Dublin visit. Their vocal and instrumental skills were superb . Their personalities were charming and warm. Their enthusiasm for teaching us about irish music, the uniquness of the instruments and the stories behing the traditional irish music were terrific. We highly recommend this over any of the "shows" that are geared toward the masses and not personalized like this event .
Did not disappoint! Such a great night of stories, singing, and incredible music. Highly recommend!!
I also don't understand the change of location
The two musicians that performed were both great musicians and storytellers. The crowd (about 30 of us) laughed a lot and were treated to some good music and interesting stories. The reason I did not give this 5 stars is because it felt like there was more talking than playing of music. I would have enjoyed hearing more traditional Irish songs although you can certainly get that experience at the local pubs, and the two musicians suggested several options. Still, I had expected more music than what was served up and they were such good musicians it would have been lovely to hear them play more.
Fearing a tourist trap, we were instead pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, beauty, and sense of community that the two musicians (Antony and Onion) were able to create. Bringing us into the Irish atmosphere with irony and lightness, they played, told anecdotes, and illustrated the variety of instruments of this fantastic culture, amidst beers, chats, and songs that I wished would never end.
We had a wonderful evening learning about and experiencing traditional Irish music. It was a great introduction to our time in Ireland! We purchased the downloadable music and enjoyed listening to it as we started our road trip around southwestern Ireland. And we'll enjoy having that as a momento of our holiday.
It was wonderful. Great musicians, lots of fun.
We went 10 years ago and loved it so much we had to do it again and take our friends. Once again, we had the BEST time! Loved the music, the stories, jokes and both of our guides/muscians. We will go again and hopefully it will not take another 10 years to come back to Ireland.
Casual and breezy — the hosts are in it for the right reasons and they have a lot of knowledge to share
