Spontaneous family day out
We stumbled across the Camel Farm in Harrisville after a Saturday football game and couldn't have picked a better time to visit! To our surprise, the markets were on, with plenty of delicious food, live entertainment, and a huge variety of market stalls to browse. Our family ended up staying for a few hours. We loved meeting the camels, tasting the camel milk and other products in the store, and just soaking up the relaxed atmosphere. It was such a fun and unexpected day out. Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to ride a camel this time, but that's definitely at the top of our list for our next visit. A great family-friendly spot that's well worth checking out!

All about camels
This was a memorable experience and it is obvious that the staff are enthusiastic about the venture. Most of the camels have been brought in to the farm from Central Australia to save them from being culled. The animal handlers have many techniques for helping the camels adjust to the different environment on the farm. Inspiring!

Highly recommend
Very informative tour and so many interesting things to learn about Camels. The tasting was excellent and meeting the Camels up close was the best bit. The rest of the farm was also excellent.

Perfect experience
Excellent venue for a great experience. We booked the private tour, the farm was very busy so there was a bit of waiting time in the cafe for coffee when we arrived, but the tour of the gorgeous camels was very informative and the lunch that followed (with vodka tasting) was exceptional. All staff were friendly and helpful - we thoroughly enjoyed our day and will certainly return.

Close encounters with camels, great food and amazing experience
Highly recommended coming here for a close encounter with camels. My husband and I did the sunrise camel ride and breakfast package and was worth every cent. The staff are very knowledgeable- Katie and Joshua, Thank you. The camel pie is delicious, probably best pie we had in a while and the camel curry so delicious. You can also feed the camels too. Come with family or date. Will definitely come again and recommend!!!

Great day out
A visit to the camel farm is a great day out. Feeding and petting the beautiful camels is a treat, and the farm tour is very interesting. Followed by coffee and snacks at the Cafe - winner, winner!

Most amazing day
Had the most amazing experience at summerland camels, we walked around the markets picking up some fantastic gifts, tried the food, beer and gin tasting. entertainment was great and had an absolutely amazing experience riding camels Thanks Drover for being a nice friendly camel

Wonderful day out
What a great place to spend a day! All the staff we encountered so very friendly and helpful! My daughters thoroughly enjoyed a camel ride and we had a fantastic lunch on the deck.

Well worth visiting
A highlight of our time in Brisbane. Did the tour and tasting with 3 teenagers, fed the camels and tasted the vodka. A great morning which we loved.
