A magical late afternoon in Matera.
A magical visit, reserved on the advice of Michele Angelo from Damascus. The tour of the city, the sassi, and the Mugia park under the setting sun in a convertible vehicle allowed us to appreciate the beauty of Matera and its site that spans centuries and transports us. Thank you.

Great views and rock church/cave experience
Great way to experience the ancient caves up close. Incredible views, as well. Our guide was knowledgeable and had interesting information and stories about the area. And after the tour, he was so kind in helping us secure a taxi. Then, when our daughter discovered that she left her phone on the bus after the bus had left and the tour was over, our guide make sure we got in the taxi to take us to our dinner reservation on time, and then he personally found the bus, retrieve the phone, and delivered the phone to our restaurant. Truly above and beyond! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience in Matera!

Matera Fiat 500 tour
Spent a lovely morning with our tour guide Giovanni in an open air Fiat 500. He was very knowledgeable and showed us Matera explaining the town and it’s history Would highly recommend!

Parking and Tours in Matera
I used both the car parking service and the transfer to the hotel which was in the restricted traffic area within the Sassi in Matera. Furthermore, at the suggestion of the Management, we took part in the guided tour in a 7-seater car with a sunroof which lasted approximately 90 minutes and was explained by the very good Mr. John. An experience worth all the proposed cost. Excellent and recommended!
