We were in Civitavecchia with AIDAcosma as a family of 5 and wanted to visit Rome. AIDA charges three-digit euro amounts per person for a bus tour... by chance, we then found and booked this tour. It was super! Starting with the exemplary and very friendly communication with the organizer Flavia beforehand: she was even able to organize a German-speaking driver for the tour. We were picked up directly at the ship in a van at the agreed-upon time. The German-speaking driver explained the itinerary to us, and we headed to Rome. There were a total of six stops, each with 20 to 40 minutes of time to explore. The driver always drove us directly to the sights and waited by the car. During the drive, there was information and an audio guide in German about the next destination. We had an excellent day, thanks again! Also, we were lucky with traffic; we were picked up at 9 a.m. and were back at the ship shortly after 3 p.m. (5 p.m. was communicated as the latest return time). With the currently high outside temperatures, it was great to be traveling in an air-conditioned car. The most relaxed way for families to get the most out of the day. Tip: Money and water, etc., can simply remain in the car.

Our driver and tour guide was prompt and professional as well as ensuring we made it back in time to our cruise port. Rome traffic was horrible but we were able to square in a lot in 6 hours. He also took us to a supermarket as I was looking for a specific Italian cookies. He’s a local and spoke good English.

We found many positive reviews about Flavia so we contacted her for our cruise stop in Civitavecchia. It 'was very helpful and exhaustive already in the directions before our departure. Mario was waiting for us at the port, an exquisite and very nice person... an impeccable guide! the trip from Civitavecchia to Rome flew, among stories, laughter and curiosity about the territory we were crossing. Arrived in Rome took us to the symbolic places of the city and gave us all the indications to see them from the best sides. When we return to Rome we will definitely contact Flavia. Would highly recommend, we had Patrizio as our driver/guide. We went to all the main attractions in Rome. He was punctual, informative, helpful, on schedule. He answered all questions and very professional. Before each place we listed to some facts before visiting. We came off a cruise ship and would definitely use again.

We were picked up from our cruise ship at Civitavecchia port by our driver by the very pleasant and knowledgeable Alessandro, who brought us around all the main attractions of Rome and waited as we explored each one on foot. I can’t recommend this was of exploring Rome strongly enough! The temperature above 30 degrees C and we had our air conditioned transport waiting there each stop to cool down in.
