• Visit to the village of Panque, which is an exact replica of how the slaves lived more than 600 years ago. • Tour of the village "customs"
• Explanation of how the artisan process is with respect to the elaboration of palenque sweets and the elaboration of the "ñeque" (Drink that the palenqueros drank as a gift from the African descendants at that time)
Visit to the statue of the Colombian Boxer "Kid Pambele"
We visit the central restaurant of the palenqueros, and we return, it would take us 1 hour to get to Cartagena where the activity ends.

A Glimpse in the Traditional Life of Palenque
The tour was fantastic! The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. The dance performance at the dance studio was invigorating! I truly enjoyed interacting with the residents and guides. Thank you!

A day in Palenque

The driver hated his job....
The driver hated his job. El Ken or El kin, unsure how to spell it. Very bumpy ride and dropped everyone at there hotels except my group! It is listed as 5 hours, this last 8 hours. Ride to Palenque was longer than expected. Everyone in Palenque was so nice and the food was great!

Amazing Experience
This experience was second to none! The town of Palenque is wonderful, and full of warm and welcoming people. The tour guides did an amazing job getting me integrated, and explaining the relevance and history of the town. Would 100% come back again!

A wonderful taste of Palenke’s culture, music, food, medicine, history and beyond
Roiman was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, making sure that we understood more than just the ‘facts’ about life in Palenke. He showed us the spirit, culture and ways of life of the people who live here and their history.
