Description
A very interesting and especially recommended trek in summer, when the cool mountain temperatures offer a good contrast to the strong heat of Marrakech. 2 days by the wonderful High Atlas, surrounding and crossing several valleys and ascending to the great Toubkal (4,167 m) We pass in small mountain villages connected to each other only by narrow and meandering roads. DAY 1: MARRAKECH – IMLIL – TOUBKAL REFUGE: Transfer by our correspondent to Imlil, where we will not join our guide and the mules and climb to the Neltner refuge (3,207 m) Climb to the Neltner refuge (3,207 m) passing through the “marabout of Sidi Chamarouch” along the path and continuation towards the refuge along a path that climbs regularly. Night and dinner in shelter DAY 2: CLIMB TO TOUBKAL – IMLIL- MARRAKECH Ascension to the summit of Toubkal (4,167 m). The path borders the ascent blade. The first 200 m are on a slope; then it softens; from 3,700 to 3,850 m it steepens again; and, finally, comes the crest, followed by an ridge. All this represents a climb of 3 and a half hours and a descent of approximately 2 and a half hours. At noon, lunch at the shelter and descent to IMLIL and transportation to Marrakech.

Everything perfect
I recommend it. Communication with Hassan was very easy via WhatsApp to organize everything from Spain and once there, everything was fine. Transportation to and from Marrakech, guide, meals, accommodation... In my case, when I went alone I had to join another group (I didn’t find any guide who wanted to go up with only one person). On the two-day excursion, one climbs to Toubkal and the other Ras and Temzguida, but in my opinion, only with the one day (and one night in the shelter) is enough to live the experience.

Ascension to Toubkal
We made the ascent to Toubkal with several local guides and the experience is unique. All organized, very attentive and experienced guides give you security and confidence. On the way back we stayed at the Mzik Family Hostel to continue our journey to the desert with another Guide. It is a family business where you feel part of the family. A highly recommended adventure to do with them!

An exceptional team. Always attentive so that you don't miss anything. Everything is very well organized, you don't have to worry about anything, they pick you up, they carry your backpacks, they prepare delicious meals for you,... Mullers, cook, our guide Omar,...all wonderful people, who help you and guide you. They give security to achieve the desired ascension. Crowning Toubkal was exciting, but the experience of meeting and sharing moments with this team was unbeatable!
