Start your day at 5:45 a.m. at Tree Coffee House, just steps from the main dock. Enjoy a fresh cup of Costa Rican coffee or tea while the jungle slowly awakens around you. Meet your guide, receive your binoculars and dry bag, and get ready for an unforgettable morning.
At 6:00 a.m., glide silently into the narrow rainforest canals of Tortuguero National Park in a stable paddle canoe with backrests. With just 8 guests per group and a certified naturalist by your side, you’ll explore wildlife-rich channels where motorboats can’t go. Spot caimans, monkeys, toucans, kingfishers, herons, and more—every tour is unique. Your guide will help you read the rainforest: from distant bird calls to subtle animal movements.
Around 8:30 a.m., return to the main dock feeling calm, connected, and inspired. Whether you head back to your hotel or continue exploring the village, this peaceful experience will stay with you long after the paddle ends.

Incredible canoe experience through the canals. We saw and learned a lot.
Boa has great knowledge of the area's flora and fauna and gives great explanations and many interesting details; we saw a ton of animals, without a doubt the best option for Tortuguero.

I cannot say anything else: exceptional. The environment and everything Tortuguero offers are already spectacular, but the experience was even better thanks to Boa, our guide. From the first minute, he knew how to capture our attention with his kindness, professionalism, and, above all, with his extensive knowledge. Throughout the entire tour, he explained the animals we were encountering in great detail, and we also learned a lot about botany and the ecosystem. We were lucky enough to see many animals and enjoy every moment until we returned to the dock. It is clear that Boa enjoys his work and knows how to convey it. A 10/10 experience. Totally recommended.

Wonderful experience with Boa, an incredible guide who speaks three languages, including French. We took this excursion as a family and Boa was attentive, showed us many animals, we got very close to caimans, birds, blue morphos, and learned many things about the flora and fauna of Tortuguero. Magical moment.
Very good guide - absolutely great with children and tried to include them (even though the children do not speak English). As a family with an 18-month-old child, they also made an extra group out of us - so for us, absolutely top! The provider is not the cheapest, but for the great tour, there was an additional tip! Highly recommended!
