Important Notice : on May 16 and 17, the Savior's Well or Ash Bath will probably not be accessible. Instead, an alternative underground will be offered for external reasons. The only underground Toledo guided tour, the original, which goes down to several private undergrounds, exclusively, including part of the imperial Roman baths, in the morning, afternoon and evening. Discover the history of the city of the Three Cultures in the places, underground, where they lived from Roman times to practically today. Visiting : underground of the Roman baths, the dungeons of the Posada de la Hermandad, the basement of a private house with a collection of models of Toledo monuments in wood and two more underground. Up to a total of 5 undergrounds on the same guided tour. We also walk outside, through different streets and corners of the city, it is not all the time underground. Important: in Spanish only. BABY CARTS NOT ALLOWED

Posada De La Hermandad
We visited some unusual dungeons.
We access a private home that preserves a curious basement with a huge collection of models of Toledo monuments made by a local wood craftsman. Perfect for the little ones!
We go down to the Well of the Savior : one of the most unique historical wells preserved underground in the old town, testimony to Toledo’s hydraulic ingenuity and the importance of its subsoil for the life of the city.
Islamic construction of the 12th century that preserves the original structure of the old Toledan Hammam. A key space to understand daily life in Toledo and the social and cultural importance of public baths in medieval times and their relationship with the Three Cultures.
Las Termas Romanas de la Plaza de Amador de los Rios
We visit -the guide opens with his key-, in private, the part of the imperial Roman baths of Toledo (they are not the public offices of the baths that everyone visits), a magnificent underground with centuries of history. Important notice: from July 1, 2025, you will not visit Thermae, instead you will access another private location of the same Roman baths, also unusual and curious. More news on this route soon!

Excited to See History Treasures
Juan Martino was fabulous!! Even though I speak little Spanish, he gave me a brief explanation in English while others looked around. I saw 2 sites that I had always wanted to see. Perfecro!!

Recommended tour if you are going with children; my daughters (9 and 14 years old) liked it and did not find it tedious. Our guide, Pepe, was great ;)

An unforgettable experience; thanks to our friendly guide Amparo, we were able to enjoy a wonderful tour of the private basements and Roman baths of Toledo that left us speechless. We are looking forward to repeating it to discover more curiosities in this wonderful city.

Centuries underground
Unusual and very interesting route, 100% recommended.

A glimpse into the past, by going underground.
The guide only speaks Spanish, and because a lot of it is underground if you’re using an app translator, it won’t work. It does get incredibly hot in the summer, and if you’re at all claustrophobic, I wouldn’t recommend it. You also do a lot of walking from one location to the next on cobblestone streets. Understanding those things, it was fun to explore different parts of Toledo than what you can see above ground. At one point, the guide opened up a metal box in the middle of the sidewalk and we climbed down the stairs to a cistern. And checking out the old jails, it was pretty interesting. For what it cost, I felt it was a good deal. And it’s off the beaten path of churches and museums, if you have a few days in Toledo, I would definitely add it to your agenda.

A curious route and...
A curious and quite complete route touring the underground of Toledo. Our guide Bruno was perfect; he holds the visitors' attention with his funny comments applied to the history of the route. No cuts or mistakes in the information transmitted, plus it was easy and understandable. We recommend the experience 100% and Bruno even more.
