If you want a unique experience in Toledo, to get to know it thoroughly and away from mass tourism, we will take you through a Historic Centre full of monuments and places of interest. With the help of an Official Local Guide, you will discover the City of the Three Cultures, a World Heritage Site since 1986. Choose the monuments to visit, advised by us, based on your religious or cultural preferences or special situations (such as visits with children, people with reduced mobility...) Indicate, if you wish, where in the city you prefer to start and end the tour. Hotel and restaurant, for example. We will stop for a coffee or taste some of the best marzipan if you feel like it. Our walking pace will always adapt to what our clients indicate to us. In short, this experience will leave an indelible memory that will last forever in your memory.

Itinerary
We will visit the heart of the Imperial City of Toledo, its historic complex. On our itinerary we will walk through its most emblematic streets and squares. In the Historic Centre there are places as interesting as the Alcázar, the Plaza de Zocodover, the Cathedral Primada de España, the Mosque of Cristo de la Luz, the Jewish Quarter, the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, the Synagogue of El Tránsito or the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes. These are just some of the best known. In addition, we could access underground excavations not open to the general public to learn about part of the Hidden Toledo, such as Islamic Hammam, Roman Baths, medieval Cistern (well), Jewish Ritual Bath (Mickvé), etc... We will advise you based on the opening days, hours, your tastes and preferences which places would be the most suitable to visit. The proposed order of the itinerary may vary depending on the pick-up of travelers at their accommodation or where they choose
The city's main square is full of social life. There are plenty of restaurants around where you can eat or drink.
The Cathedral of Santa Maria de Toledo is one of the most impressive Catholic temples in Europe. The decorative richness of its interior is unparalleled. It is one of the highlights of the visit.
It was once one of the most important Jewish quarters in the Iberian Peninsula. Its two incomparable mosques will captivate you. Its narrow streets and corners will make you fall in love.
Inside it houses El Greco's masterpiece: The Burial of the Lord of Orgaz. One of the most important paintings in history that can only be admired here as it has never been in a museum or exhibition.
Jewel of the Sephardic world in Toledo. The ancient Main Synagogue of the Toledo Jewish quarter will captivate you with its forest of columns and horseshoe arches.
The last synagogue built in Toledo. This 14th century building has an astonishing decoration that makes it unique in its style. The Sephardic museum transports us to another era and helps us to better understand the Jewish legacy in the city.
The most important construction undertaken by the Catholic Monarchs Isabel and Fernando. The cloister is a marvel of late Gothic architecture. The church is almost another cathedral in Toledo.

Chavi was able to give us a rich history of the city and take us two places many tourists. Don’t get a chance to see. I would highly recommend taking a tour with him if you get the chance - he is also very strong.

Having a personal guide for three hours was a treat while we toured the historical parts of Toledo. Our guide was very well versed in the history of the ancient city. We learned a lot and found the information and sites to be fascinating . There were other places to see but we had reached our saturation point( it was a very hot day) and felt satisfied by all we saw and learned. I would have liked to spend more time looking at El Greco’s art, if I could. . On the day of the tour our guide helped me through an odd situation regarding the actual time for the cathedral tour. I received entry tickets an hour before it was open. I bought them from the actual cathedral office website so the tour agency had nothing to do with the confusion. Our guide took me to see their ticket seller at the Cathedral and he made sure we could get inside evening even though it was an hour plus later than our timed tour. He checked the validity of the tickets and they were authentic and paid for. Why a time was on the sight is the mystery. There was frustration on my part with inadequate communications with the service department of the tour agency. I found the examination of the personally planned tour to be vague. It took too long for me to wrap my might around what our tour would include and tried to get in touch with their customer service agent before our trip, but what I heard back was not satisfactory. I was trying to figure out logistics and our tour choices. It was the day before the date I heard directly from our guide and she further explained and answered my questions. She was very professional and I appreciated it. It was the customer service department’s lack of communication that caused confusion with conflicting information and did not provide specific answers as I requested on several occasions. The private tour was more expensive( twice the amount of the group tour and I wanted to make sure we understood what we would see and learn. In the end I was pleased with the tour but the aggravation before hand could have been eliminated quickly yet it was not. As it was, the personalized aspect of the tour never happened. I tried to gain an understanding of our offerings so I could actually select what we saw. The guide selected what we did and it turned out fine . A general tour of three areas in the city took up our three hour allotment.

Yolanda was a great tour guide. She was on time, presented herself well had a great personality was incredibly knowledgeable about Toledo and I am sure many other locations. Her detail, history was superb and she carries an iPad with up close pictures to describe important details. The passion she has for her profession is clearly what motivates her.
