I enjoyed to make this litle sweet! After making a bird and a flower I got a Matcha Tea and ate one of the sweets and one I took home.
I did this wagashi class solo and had a great experience. The instruction was clear, the English was excellent, and the pace was easy to follow even if you’ve never done anything like this before. What I appreciated most was how approachable it felt. It started a bit formal, but once we got going it became relaxed and genuinely fun. I learned a new skill, made my own wagashi, and enjoyed matcha at the end. It’s a great activity if you’re traveling alone—no pressure, very welcoming, and well organized. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something hands-on and a little different.
