Tokyo Chopstick Making Workshop in Ginza

Really helpful and friendly staff!

This was so much fun! Located in business area, I almost missed the entry had two other tourists not pointed out where it was. So many signs from different businesses that it was an overload to find the entry elevator. You will shave, sand and oil your own chopsticks. Classes were small, the guide was so friendly and attentive and it was a fun souvenir to take home that I still use to this day.

What a fun experience. The folks teaching us were very nice and helpful. One the one hand it could be considered a little expensive for some wooden chopsticks, but the experience more than made up for it

The chopstick making experience was very fun. Yumi sensei was very friendly and helpful and made the whole experience very enjoyable. The chopsticks also turned out amazing. The place was not overcrowded which was nice as it allowed ample space to make the chopsticks. The atmosphere was light and friendly and everyone was having fun. The time that was given to us to make chopsticks was perfect and it allowed us to really be in the process and perfect our chopsticks.

The staff was wonderful and the chopstick making was very enjoyable.

Multi lingual staff shows the way to create your own personalized chopsticks out of a lumber. Various kind of woods and names can be engraved on them

The workshop was amazing ! I’d leave about an hour free to do it. You chose your wood, carve it, sand it, oil it, and for a little extra you can have your name (or anything) engraved on! I loved it !! highly recommend

Excellent workshop. We showed up without an appointment but they happily took us in immediately, the tuition was first class and the whole experience was good fun and memorable as I walked away proudly at the end with my personally made set of chopsticks.

At first I thought an hour wouldn’t be long enough but it definitely was and the guides were very welcoming.

A great experience. K explained to us perfectly what to do and also provided great support when there were problems. At the end, he even gave tips for the rest of our trip. Making the chopsticks was fun and worked out quite spontaneously in our case.
