Wholeheartedly recommended, best tour I've come across in a while
The definitive tour of Albania even, not just Tirana. We were part of an eastern european group; we did the Croatian coast, Montenegro, Scutari/Northern Albania and today landed in the capital. By far this is the most thorough and deep dive on the history of the country, as well as its culture, roots and trendy places to visit. I'm rather well travelled and I'd say Daniel's tour was by far the best one I've come across. We could see our own country through this lens, mind you. Wholeheartedly recommended

Wonderful person and engaging tour, what more to ask?
The reviews live up to the experience 100%. Had a great time with Dan. He was very friendly and knowledgable. My friend Christie and Debbie tried our best without a guide, but with Dan, we understood right away that it would have been easier to book him rather than deal with generic text on guide books. Daniel was very passionate and well spoken, had a large arsenal of knowledge and made our trip feel like half an hour.

Hands down The definitive tour
Suuuuper nice tour. It felt like tours you'd take in the early 90s. The guy's a local by generations, you can tell he's lived enough to see waves after waves of change. Scope was large as well, I got for instance some bits about Lithuania and the rest of the eastern bloc, as well as other goodies I won't spoil.
Recommending Dan to all my buddies

Nice and welcoming
Wonderful. My partner and I felt great right at the get go. We loved the pyramid and what they've done with the place ever since. Furthermore, we'd gotten our place by the lake and this tour served as a wonderful expansion to our neighborhood and plans for the stay.
Absolutely recommended - Dave

Amazing experience with a local right at the heart of the city.
GREAT ONE! We've been in Tiranaa for approx. a week, this is by far the Top thing to do. I kinda regret not choosing it sooner as it would have greatly aided us.
There were hidden details, lost stories in buildings and squares, whole neighborhoods and their dynamics. Daniel, our tour guide was awesome. Very very friendly and talkative, huge breadth and range of subjects.
Our group is actively recommending him to anyone in our circles.

Bespoke service. Most in-depth tour I've come across
Nice! We're a group of friends that have gone through a tour throughout the balkans. By far, this is the best one we came across. I mean, bespoke level of service, something you'd expect in Vienna or London. Our tour guide was thorough and familiar with both macro history and small details. Absolute delight, 10/10.

A fantastic introduction to Albania and its people
I was bummed to realize upon my arrival in Tirana that the National Historical Museum is closed for renovations. Lucky for me it was Daniel to the rescue with this excellent, immersive walking tour in which he brought centuries of Albanian history to life. He was great company as well, eager to answer questions and expand upon areas and topics in which I was particularly interested. This was so much better than a museum visit could provide, and I can’t thank Daniel enough for his time and expertise.

Wonderful experience, makes me trust Tripadvisor again
I'm not one to leave reviews usually, but this tour deserved it. Very fun and informative tour. The meeting place was absolutely accessible, even though we were 15 people, Daniel, our tour guide, never rushed us and had the equipment to handle larger crowds. the tour itself showed us a lot about the country and some details which where right under our noses. I won't spoil them but neither me nor my wife recognized them until he pointed it out.
5/5* definitively!

Very very good and fun guide. We learned from the ancient past all the way to the transit of power and the present day. You could tell he was oozing with knowledge, extremely erudite and warm guy.

Wonderful and engaging! Best 2 hours spent on a trip by far.
Thank you Daniel for the wonderful and fun experience. It's our 3rd day in Tirana and we are enjoying it so far. Our guide showed us pretty much all there is to know and see about this place. I had passed by before with my wife a couple of spots, right in the city center mind you, and Daniel brought it to life.
Absolutely recommended!
