ALL-INCLUSIVE TIN CITY WALKING TOUR (PASO ROBLES) Tin City Paso Robles is one of the most unique places to go wine tasting, but planning the perfect visit can be harder than it looks. With dozens of small producers, limited seating, and no clear route, it’s easy to miss the best spots or spend too much time figuring out where to go next. This guided walking tour turns that into a seamless, curated experience, combining boutique wineries, lunch at Etto Pastabar, and craft spirits into one perfectly paced day. Walk between tasting rooms, visit top producers, enjoy a family-style lunch, and finish with a spirits tasting, all without worrying about reservations or timing.
Step into this boutique winery focusing on high quality handcrafted Italian varieties, and the second winery to exist in Tin City. You’ll sip through a small selection of elegant, naturally made, old world style Italian wines and talk about their winemaking practices, including the use of amphorae, sustainable farming, the history of obscure Italian varieties in San Luis Obispo county and the building the Giornata & Etto brands in (at the time) little known Tin City.
After a short walk through Tin City, we’ll visit END OF THE DAY wines and learn about how winemaker Carl Bowker went from producing highly-acclaimed small production wines at Caliza Winery in the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles to also starting a boutique label in Tin City offering wines that are tasty, well-priced, approachable and that can be enjoyed daily.
Cozy up with your new friends and enjoy a family style meal that includes a sampling of Etto’s delicious pasta made in Tin City with high-quality organic ingredients, as well as a selection of gourmet sandwiches and a delicious salad, all made with local, seasonal ingredients. There will be vegetarian & non-vegetarian options. Still water is included, but additional beverages can be purchased during the lunch, if desired. After lunch we’ll have the chance to pop into Etto Pastificio and check-out their Italian market where you can see their traditional Italian pasta making equipment and possibly take home some goodies to enjoy later!
It doesn’t get any hipper than Tin City Distillery, which brings two labels under one roof in the heart of Tin City. Wine Shine features nuanced, small-batch brandies and Tin City Distillery offers an array of traditional spirits such as vodka, gin, bourbon and rye whiskey, along with mixers, muddlers and playful canned cocktails. Focusing on innovative flavors and high-quality ingredients, we’ll finish the day sipping through a sampling of their refreshing canned cocktails, learning about the basics of distillation and chilling with new friends.

Kristina gave a fabulous tour of Tin City. She is a natural! We had such a wonderful morning visiting 3 x wineries/distilleries and a family-style lunch at Etto. It isn't often that you get to personally meet the winemakers in such an intimate setting - we felt very special with our curated tour. I absolutely recommend this tour to all levels of wine enthusiasts. Superb value for money, and a morning well spent.
What a wonderful day moving through Tin City, learning about the wine and spirits made here, great tastings and a melt-in-your mouth lunch at Etto. Lori was a warm and fun guide, so knowledgeable and quick witted. We are so glad we picked this tour!
Lori was an excellent tour guide, full of historical knowledge and fun facts about the area, the people, and the wines. Tin City came alive for us! We got to experience wine from a barrel, taste grapes still fermenting, and talk with the winemakers. Lunch at Etto did not disappoint. What a great experience!
