We had a lovely time with Maria walking through old Hvar town and learning about the history and culture of Hvar. She was friendly and knowledgeable and moved at a great pace. Highly recommended to familiarize yourself with the town when first arriving. Thank you Maria!
A lot of folks show up at the meeting place, hoping they’re in the right spot. We weren’t told to go inside to register with the reception person. After we got started, Marija told us quite a bit of Split and Croatia history, up until just a few years ago. That helped us all understand Croatia’s place throughout history. Then she gave us a thorough tour of the Castle, moving from room to room, area to area to understand how this all fit at different times through history. She was informative and funny, too.
